QUOTE(infrasonic @ Mar 16 2013, 05:02 PM) oh man..haven't got rid of this cat shit yet, got another problem dy there's white fluffy substance on the leaf of my juniper..anyway to get rid of it? damn..i failed in just keeping a normal plant, what to say bonsai xD » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Just jet spray wash it off with water. If it comes back again, wash again. Your cedar is definitely not getting enough of open air and sunlight. |

QUOTE(zabel8484 @ Mar 17 2013, 11:09 AM) That is Murraya paniculata microphyll from Thailand. If you observe carefully, the leaves are just like the normal Murraya but real mini in size. Murraya in direct Chinese translation is call " nine mile good frequent" 'coz when it bears flower the frequent is so strong that can smell "nine miles" away. Is it true?? |

Title : My Stump. If anybody has saved a stump, or given by some body else, or from your big old tree, no matter what specie, what size and shape, or something you has post up here before and like to have an update, please join in to post your photos up. If you have kept some progressive photos of your stump up to your present stage you are most welcome to share out. This is one of my Wrighthia "sui mui" stump given by my neighbor 3 years ago, I've done nothing more than trim and cut back the branches. I've decided to give it an initial shape on this carefree Sunday. This post has been edited by Bonsailelong: Mar 17 2013, 09:20 PM |

QUOTE(anevilx @ Mar 19 2013, 04:45 PM) Hi anevilx, welcome There is no rules on wiring and bending of your tree. But is whether your tree can take the wiring and bending or not? If you over bend the trunk or branches of your tree, you will hear cracking sound and... Steel wire is not advisable to be used because it will rust. Aluminium wire is recommended not only it won't rust but also easy to unwire when your tree trunk has grown tight. Cucur attap is quite a delicates to handle if your are a beginner. I'll say you should go for some easy species like Wrighthia "sui mui" ficus or boxwood which is much cheaper to begin with. |
