I paid RM100 to book the new B-line Saga (Auto) on May, till now I am still waiting. So now with the new price increase to RM39k, it is only around RM5k cheaper than Persona.

With Persona you get a more powerful engine and much roomier inside, of course it also less fuel efficient.

I am really struglling now whether to stay with Saga or change to Persona.

Any Saga, Persona owner out there has second thought? Care to share that here?

No need to waste so much money on a Proton car. Stick to the cheapest one.

If you booked at that time,the price should stick to that and won't increase.Haiz if like this I think you better get the Persona cause its abit roomier than the saga and has a larger boot.

Btw,can someone enlighten me whether the persona Campro comes with the IAFM like that in the Saga?I remember its just a normal Campro

Actually,if you compare both of them go for the Persona cause I test drive both cars and I can say the Persona is alot bigger than the saga and it has a large boot.

The inclusion of the IAFM really makes alot of difference and you can really feel the extra oomph at low engine speed if compared to the old non-IAFM campro

if i were u, il go for persona..that 5k will make a different in the interior alot..
on the other way, imagine the different of horsepower, FC will vary..but i don think persona will kill ur wallet that much as other 1.6 cars..i assume.

if 5k makes no diferent for u then go for persona but i wan remind u that it also got many problems

If you plan to stick to the car for quite a number of years,you might as well spend the extra cash and go for the one you like more (which I'm assuming is Persona)

5k i get a better engine , bigger car , better looking (at least for me) ... definitely I will go for Persona.. provided that i can afford the extra 5k

now (rm2.70/litre) full tank around rm100 - long distance 500km, short distance around 400km

Buy BLM better... For long term and casual driving conditions..... Save fuel and nice to drive..

if for short distance driving,seriously dont get persona,if always outstation and use highway,then persona will be a wiser choice

do u look at the specs between these 2 cars? the cheapest persona dont have airbag,ABS,sports rim and its a Manual

u make the decision. a few months ago, i ordered BLM too but changed to persona. now, very satisfy with my decision.. FC is not an issue for me. my persona only 6.7 l/100km.

I can afford the extra 5~10k, I suppose my main concern has been whether Persona is worth that extra 5k.

This car will mainly used by my dad & mum, to goto shopping at Carrefour etc ; or me driving once in a while with friend to goto KL <-> Penang for weekend break away.

I dont want to spend too much on car because it is a negative equity, but being a Malaysian and with <RM50k budget one really dont have much option apart from Proton (I think MyVi is too small plus I am driving viva myself).

if mainly used by ur parent, better go for persona. since u mention going for shopping, extra boot size is an advantage.

penang kl, means that a highway. persona runs better in highway. lesser FC, comfort, stable..

I wanted to buy the new Saga too, but after many thoughts, I've been driving my old Saga for 6 years, why downgrade from 1.5 to 1.3? Although the new engine is very much better than the old Knight engine.

Go for the Persona if you've got the budget. It's much spacier! FC's pretty high tho'

persona is using rework gen2..but saga all-new... even though its a strecth gen2,almost everthing change in persona.. and very good prc too...

Just ensure to buy that is in your budget only lar+save fuel..coz now fuel is less 0.15 cent only..
