 Biostar T-Power I45, how to OC, help!!!

i have some prob here cry.gif hope u guys can help especially those using this mobo icon_question.gif

i wanna OC my proc just using the stock voltage laugh.gif im using this mobo with e2160 icon_rolleyes.gif

the prob is when i increased the FSB, the CPU voltage oso increased to 1.336V from 1.288V automatically sweat.gif

i dunno wuts wrong, when i used (200x9) means 1.8Ghz the voltage still display 1.288V, dats ok but

when in increased the fsb (220x9), the voltage display at bios n cpuID change to 1.336V, i dun increased any voltage sweat.gif

cos my purpose to oc my proc with stock voltage only nod.gif

pls help me guys... notworthy.gif

well, if u didn change the setting of "vcore", the default is "Auto"
which mean u increase the fsb, it will increase the vcore itself.
hmm.. hope it answer your question..

What i do is... do some maths, and set vcore to -0.050v...
if go too high already then u can -0.100

i tried wut u said just now, the voltage at bios ok but at the the cpu-id not ok, display changing up n down, the speed oso changing...need to disable other than c1e???

wut verion cpu-id did u used???

TP145 is good overclocking board.
1. if display keep jumping , disable c1e.

ur dual core can't oc la...so high is to be 2.8ghz only..buy e8400 la..

oh well, for biostar i would suggest you either check the thread, or as lolhalol said, go online and check, most of the boys here use e8 to clock. most of the comments made here, are made without really thinking. I would go google it. Certain boards are picky about what u use on them. A good example is like my Foxconn Mars smile.gif

u said ur proc can did well when oc on previous mobo rite?so im assume u did urself..i mean u not jus start oc..if jus start myb u can look guide for oc..n check ur cpu features in ur bios wat u shud enable n disable nod.gif

on another note, maybe i am switching my processor because i cant handle the b**chiness of the board towards my processor.

@TS
oh yeah, if u noticed the expert users of the board like Coolice and Lolhalol, it took them sometime though to figure the board. As it does have heaps of different tweaks unlike simpler boards before. And this tweaks or settings can affect your ocing. Take your time and get a good grip of the board. It does take time smile.gif
