im a newbie also but if you browse around and read the forum here. you would see that people here use.
e7200/e8400/q6600/e8500 with biostar tpower i45 and usually saphire 4780. anyone gpu brand would do. cooling is xigmatek s1283.
a newbie advice to newbie. laugh.gif

psu is a must good one. since you like gigabyte. get at least gigabyte odin 550w gt. icon_rolleyes.gif

enough and st56f is also normally use here. someone is selling quad core new at 530.
should buy that. get yourself a tpower i45 and you can start oc. normally we geek here use 4850 and oc it to 4850 speed as
4870 is hard to push more and 4850 is cheaper 300 which you can but those 3rd party gpu cooler like battle axe and accelero s1.
i just been here for 1 week and the people here has teach me so much. all you need is to read and ask. sweat.gif

you can easily reach 4.2ghz and more.
setting is around the same. fsb. vcore and ram timing and also ram speed.
read the overclocking fundamentals and you should be good in no time.
its time to read guyz. no shortcut. i read like 500 worth of webpages.

see the t45 thread for voltage temp and other setting. your motherboard should be around that capabilities. maybe not as good but near.
