Guys let's not fight and bicker. International rules for promod were made for SND as that is their mode for competitions. It was made to unite the EU/NA. Having your own ruleset is fine. If it's what the community wants that is good! It means your community is excelling. Not switching to international rules doesn't mean you are lagging behind. I myself kinda of like the Msian ruleset, it really looks fun!

For those saying CoD is becoming like CS. Please understand that from the beginning CoD was made TO compete with CS. The CS template [5v5 Bombsite] for international competition play is legendary and successful and that is why people are following it. So please do not keep complaining that CoD is becoming like CS. Those rules are made for INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL competitions. No ruleset is right or wrong.

So please stop fighting amongst each other. It hurts my heart to see such prejudice and malice going on between the community. We are all one big family and should treat each other as such. If you have a problem raise it up in a orderly and respectful manner and have a mature discussion.


Anyways the following will be me speaking as a CoD4 Sniper and not as a member of JEDI. It is solely my opinion.

I would recommend we use the Unite Sniper Fix. For those who do not know about what sniper fixes are here is a brief statement. It is globally known that the stock sniper has some flaws [EG: Too long scope in. Too long lerp breath timing]. Basically the communities of EU/NA/AUS banded together to make sniper fixes [PATCHES] since Activision did not bother to help.

Basically there are three types of fixes that have been used in competitive play.

1.Lerp 4 fix. The Lerp 4 fix changes the game command and allows the sniper to half the time it takes for the crosshair in his scope to steady before it is 100 percent on target on the crosshair.

2.AWP fix. This fix makes it just LIKE CS AWP. It scopes in instantly and is instantly accurate. You do not have to hold your breath. [I don't like this one]. You can only shoot one shot before you have to rechamber and it will unscope when you rechamber your round.

3. Unite Sniper Fix. This fix was made with input from the top snipers from EU/NA. It is a balanced fix. It halves the time taken for your breath to steady your crosshair 100 percent and halves the time taken to scope in. Overall it fixes the slow scoping and still makes the sniper have to hold his breath which makes it easier yet not too easier for snipers.

If possible, speaking as a sniper here, I would like to see the Unite Sniper Fix implemented. It is a simple file that needs to be put in the server mod files. If not possible that is ok.
