If you pwned your iphone before, everything should work fine but no 3rd parties apps only.

Yes... all work smooth and fine and will remain all sms / phone no / email setup / photo / music, no need do any sync again,

only 3rd parties apps won't work coz we need jailbreak to install 3rd parties app.

I think the update doesn't really wipe everything. My carrier (custom) text that I've applied with MIM (Make It Mine) is still there, although now I don't think I can change it hehe.

im still at 2.0 & i dont have intention to update to 2.0 unless got 3rd party apps. available which is very important such bosstool, bosspref.
i cant imagine what the best solution when the root partition being use 100%(full), there is no bosstool, how to free the space then?
sure uninstalling less used apps. might best solution tongue.gif

No lah, the best solution is to buy the next bigger capacity iPhone which will eventually come out. biggrin.gif

Realistically though I can make do without the 3rd party apps now, I cannot stand the instability of 2.0.

hmm for 3G, u might not wanna go for it, as u might risk not able to jailbreak it in future.

actually u should go for it if u're using 1st gen tongue.gif

Ya Installer still buggy... no OpenSSh for Installer..

Still using Cydia.. tongue.gif
updated to 2.01, the overall performance is faster than 2.0

for AppSupport, you can use the previous AppSupport for 2.0..
