if u put in your maxis, digi or celcom sim card and can make phone call and sms, mean it is unlock and jailbreak...if not mean, it is still lock which require you to unlock and jailbreak yourself...u may use iliberty+ to unlock and jailbreak...

you may need to search for how to unlock and jailbreak method in this forum...

anyway, you may also recommend to upgrade your FW from 1.1.4 to 2.0...but make sure you study all the steps and get all the software necessary ready...

The diff between jailbreak and unlock

Jailbreak - it allows it to use programs not authorized by Apple. Hence, you're able to install 3rd parties native software from Cydia and Installer.

Unlock - Unlocked phones can be used on the network of any compatible provider with the insertion of a compatible SIM card (maxis, celcom, digi)

When you insert your sim card either maxis, celcom, digi, it will show up and your phone is unlock. You can make calls, sms etc..

As for jailbreak, you will see Installer or Cydia on your iphone.

Cheers
