i already tried using a usb cable ,psp connect to xbox,it can hear music(mp3)
but how to save it on the harddisk ??

i don;t want to use usb cable for a long2 time..

and 360 cnnt read 3gp,so what are the format than we can see on the 360,psp mp4 format can eh??

the only way i know to store music on a 360 is to rip them straight from a cd.

as for the movie, there's a few threads here already discussing that. best look around for solutions. heck, go to xbox.com for solutions. they have a great knowledgebase for most of the technical problems.

stupid microsoft. they don allow u to copy musics. Two ways to play musics/video. Use streaming. Store your musics/video in share file in XP/vista. Then stream it to your xbox.

But this is not good coz it slows down your internet connection if u playing videos in xbox. Not a good idea. It is better to get a pendrive to play your mp 3.

i never used my 360 to play mp3 from pendrive...but some friend of mine which also 360 gamers ask me if he can play mp3 via pendrive?

can. just slot in the pendrive into the USB slot and go to music player and search from device. you can create playlist too.

or if you have an mp3 player like you can stream it too.

xbox 360 is a sucky console but the games are good!!!! GOT many games!

PS 3 is a powerful and good console!!!! CAN ON PS 3 1 week non-stop. Can use it for playing HD avi/mp4 , karaoke, store stuffs, can use laptop HDD(160gb,250gb,500gb.....). BUT THE GAMES SUCKS!!!!!

Actually you can store your mp3 in the hdd but its abit of a hassle since you need to burn it as a audio cd first then rip it using the 360 media player thingy. As for videos, the only way is streaming. You cant store it in your hdd.

You can put it in external hdd with usb support.

can.... use a computer with cd writer to burn mp3 to audio cd... why want to go thru all the hassle? wanna listen to mp3 on ur xb360? just plug in ur usb drive la... easy wat... can do the same method for movie aswell.. and no lag so ok la...

go Nero Burning ROM then select Audio CD click new then u files mp3 drag to file CD then Burn very easy

anyway, in case you've been in a hole somewhere for the past 3 weeks, users of 360 can install their games on the HDD soon. which means that 120gb of yours will finally being put to use.

as for not allowing copying movies, well MS is a strong advocate for DRM. plus the 360 is created to work in tandem with Windows Media Center. you get to stream from you (up to) terrabytes of HDD of movies if you want.

i'm happy to see that you are one of the few ppl who played ninety nine nights. LOL

about the games being all sporty and shooting and all you said, well the PS3 library is no any better. heck, we got more JRPG and RPG than you can ever have this year.

i dunno about sales data, but i can see ppl are starting to sell off their PS3 right after they finished MGS4. there's practically no games to play on PS3, simply put.

Can I use PS3 to watch Astro?

Can why not MK u can connect your PS3 console to the satellite astro by blutooth or u can put in BLu Ray Astro disc to the PS3 and wallaaaaa u can watch edy

U can stream music/video to xb360 from PC which req window media center.. that's all I know.

There are some MP4 files that are unable to play on the 360...why is that? The audio is AAC 2 channel and the video is h.264. File extension name is .mp4. I can't seem to find out why, any1 care to enlighten please?

Steps :

1.Load your music.
-Either make sure that there are no games on the disk drive and burn a music CD into your hard drive.
-Or, Connect your mp3 player to your Xbox with a USB cord.

2.Press the Circle of Light on your controller while playing

3.Select Music and choose your album and song.
Resume playing



Tips :
If you burn a CD into your hard drive, you can play the music easily next time. If you use an mp3 player, on the other hand, you will need to connect it every time you play.
If you are running original Xbox games, you will need to start the music in the dashboard and then play the game, as the Xbox system will not allow you to do so during the game. However, you will not be able to control volume or tracks during the play.



Things You'll NeedXbox 360
CD (original or burnt) or MP3 player + USB cord

I used to burn CDs and then copy them into the X360, but then I kept burning so much as I get so many songs, I just streamed them off my PC instead. Saves me from copying them, renaming them and taking up lots of space on my HDD.

Can the 360 play HD divx files? (meaning reso 1280x720 and above). I already updated the dashboard and downloaded the codecs. Only tested playing the regular divx files only. Planning to buy a really large capacity thumbdrive from this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/779600 if confirm can play
