My ori N82 come with all screen protector (LCD, keypad, Back cover, top of back cover)
It seems a good quality screen protector, although with some label on the edge. |

QUOTE(-Teddy- @ Aug 17 2008, 11:49 AM) I peeled off those the moment I got the phone, ops. Anyone knows how to get rid of the "internet and my content search" thing on the standby screen? I am and will not be using it, and it takes up too much of space and when combined with my meetings and to-do, the entire wallpaper is covered by text. Agree, I would like to get rid of that too. But it seems no way to do so |

Well, this is for those who having battery problem. Had you ever suspect it is due to AP set problem? My is Original set, and this is the test I carried out with my friend. Using a AC 5X charger (Output 800mA) charging an original BP-6MP from one bar to fully charged (battery full) requires 1 hour 34 minutes.
If you found your charging time is shorter than that, let say an hour or less than that, probably you are not using an original battery, and for sure you have battery life issue. As I mention earlier, hologram, serial number can be duplicated, using such way to identify an original battery is useless. Assuming charging time proportional to battery capacity, theoretically you should have the same charging time as mine. To do this experiment you do not need to always keep an eye when charging your phone. Just set an alarm (an hour, an hour 15 minutes, an hour 30 minutes) and check your N82 charging status when the alarm rang. In case you are using N73ME original charger which is the AC 4X (Output 890mA), the charging time slightly less compare to AC 5X@1 hour 30minutes. My N73ME original battery took 2 hours sharp to fully charged. Compared to another AP battery which only took 1 hour to be fully charged. Of course it drains out lots faster! So start your test now and told me what you observe. Charging time with AC 5X - > 1 hour 34 Minutes |

QUOTE(vtec-ing @ Aug 25 2008, 09:10 AM) question about chargers... Well, perhaps it is the optimum between charging time and cost of production.the charger equipped with us is AC - 5, ouput 5v 800mA. I have another charger AC - 4x, output 5v 890mA. I dont know whether is phyco effect or wat.....the 4x seems to charge my N82 faster...... is it safe to use it? ps: i wonder y nokia give us a lower output charger. The AC 4x was from 6120 (890 mAh) while our phone battery is 1050 mAh Added on September 5, 2008, 7:42 am QUOTE(sebz @ Aug 25 2008, 08:09 PM) No worries with the pen buttonPen button issue with Garmin Mobile XT was solved in some versions ago Added on September 5, 2008, 7:44 am QUOTE(-Teddy- @ Aug 26 2008, 02:52 PM) My battery life is improving already. A few flash pictures a day and it lasted about 50 hours already now and still counting. 4 bars at the moment. Garmin don autostart, UNLESS you take out your memory card and insert back. (Is like ur CD DVD autorun)Looks like I'm using the old version then. If I'm not mistaken, Garmin do have an autostart program running in the background although you are not using it. Will that thing affect the battery life? This post has been edited by vincent829: Sep 5 2008, 07:44 AM |
