as in the .sis or .jar file or whatever if its still on your phone.
i had a similar prob before also, even after removing the application.

It prompted out installing screen and said there is untrusted software in my memory card, please go to Application Manager to install application
I had removed all .sis and .jar file in my memory and try to reboot the phone but still face the similar problem

Hi there, my phone keeps hanging and freeze when i opening/exiting Nokia Maps 2.0 always, i need to remove the battery and restart as to get it back to work.

I'm upgrading from Nokia Maps 1.0 -> Nokia Maps 1.2 -> Nokia Maps 2.0

The firmware i'm using is V 20.0.062

how u install the map?

nokia map loader allows u to delete, click delete all maps......
*
I never install any maps, I just update from Nokia Maps 1.0 -> Nokia Maps -> 1.2 -> Nokia Maps 2.0
The map data are available in my phone since i bought the phone
Is it possible the old map datas crashed with Nokia Maps 2.0?

I had tried to clear off all the files in folder Cities in my memory card and reinstall Nokia Maps 2.0 again

Now there is no maps data in my phone and i try to open Nokia Maps again.
When i trying to connect to internet using Nokia Maps, the phone hang.

There will be
3G sign(I checked with the manual which mean UMTS packet data connection is available) appear
--\
\--

suddenly always below my network coverage bar and the phone will hang later when i try to open/exit Nokia Maps 2.0.

i had that prob b4.
has something to do with the 3G / GPRS settings...perhaps try the GPRS point instead of 3G.

May i know how to set that?
Sorry i m quite new about this
