Do the N95 accelerometer plugin drains battery itself? I've disabled both Nokmote and Shakeme, but I have Phone Guardian running in the background. I'm not sure if it is Phone Guardian that is sucking the battery juice or it's the accelerometer plugin.

My keypad's protector get screwed a bit because I re-stick them like 3 or 4 times (hard to align it). So it becomes less sticky and the edges will no longer stick. The back protectors are perfectly fitted.

P/s: My N82 adopted a new skill. Its battery juice can now jumps from 4 bars to just one bar after a few pictures with flash. It last about 18 hours after a full charge with moderate use (mostly camera only).

Is nsysinfo even accurate at displaying battery juice or it's actually following the bars? I have set my N82 network config to GSM only. See how it will improve the battery life.

2 days full standby or moderate use? Mine last me less than a day now

Mine takes 1 hour++ as well to charge from one bar to full. Meaning there is no way to identify original or fake battery?

But generally you can just look for S60 forums. Those apps, themes, games are compatible across almost all S60 phones. And basically this thread is good for questions too, as it's kind of active. Just 20 days old and there are already 31 pages.

Oh my, I just noticed my phone takes slightly less than an hour for a full 1 bar to full 7 bars charge. Is that even normal?

As for themes, you can transfer the theme file to your "Others" folder, and then install it. It will then appear under your "Themes" section. Just Google for S60 themes, there should be enough for you to browse until you feel bored of it

Menu > Nokia Maps. If there isn't Malaysia map already, you can download Nokia Map loader and load a Malaysia map in it. Too bad Nokia Maps doesn't support turn by turn navigation by default, you have to pay if you want it. You can also try Garmin for S60, but I uninstalled mine since it screws the pen function up.

Just Google for S60 themes and N-gage games. There are plenty out there.

Yup, N82 is the first Nokia with xenon flash.

Mine is also AC5X, with 800mA output. Around one hour to full charge from 1 bar. Weird thing, the phone has been running for more than 24 hours already, but it's still showing 7 bars, not sure to trust or not. I have uninstall Phone Guardian, Accelerometer Plugin and MagicKey. Maybe they are the ones who sucks all my battery juice last time.

If you are using Nokia Maps, you can load the map for free. Just download Nokia Map Loader and follow the procedure. Why let someone make RM30 out of you when you can do it for free, and pretty effortless?

After installing Garmin, your pen button (which is replaced by the # key in N82) will work the other way round. Instead of holding the button and navigate left or right to highlight texts, the text will be automatically highlighted. You hold the button to make the highlighting thing to go away instead after installing Garmin.

I'm not sure if you get what I mean, but I think you will notice it after installing Garmin. Especially obvious when you are not using T9.

My battery life is improving already. A few flash pictures a day and it lasted about 50 hours already now and still counting. 4 bars at the moment.
Looks like I'm using the old version then. If I'm not mistaken, Garmin do have an autostart program running in the background although you are not using it. Will that thing affect the battery life?

Garmin is not free either, unless you have a way for it.

My N82 successfully last for more than 75 hours already Left 2 bars after 75 bars, and decided to recharge, with minimal usage of the phone of course. Will experiment for the second time to see if this is consistent.
