Buddy u should have tried the nokia map 2.0 is much better can say 10x better than the previous wan. Althought it somehow uses gprs charge however that is to keep track on ur location. I have tried travel in the car 100km/hour without any disturbance.

nokia maps not fully updated.
today i followed a friend go near mines, sungei besi there.
i was messing around with the gps.
the gps was following the road nicely, until near my friend's apartment then the gps didnt show any road tho i was still on the road.
dunno how long that road has been there that nokia maps doesnt show, but from the looks of it quite long

i now using shure scl-2, my razer m-100 now backup

i lol'ed that is not the original creative ep630. I've the original ep630 which is way better in term of quality. Stronger and tighter bass and the treble not to high. Still same, the quality isnt good in n82, in n81 the bass is stronger than walkman megabass personally tested by me

the real problem is "Lost Satellite Reception" ~ something todo with the GPS chip in N82
not strong...
it is working fine but i can said it is under perform during bad weather, indoor, tunnel and heavy tinted windscreen...
more over i m thinking if using for too long, the chip will lost track of satellite ~ too hot?? no idea...

note: i m still happy with integrated GPS in N82, we all know standalone GPS is definitely better
something like standalone camera vs camera phone...

Getting reception for wide open space is like few seconds.....
Inside a wooden building.....1 minutes or longer..

So far so gud.Well did feel warm after long term using the gps..

having EQ is definitely good, but if gonna tune each genre... this is suck

buy a better earphone and set neutral for EQ... u will get the same taste
some earphone perform better on bass and some more musical or vocal
choose which type of music u like more with the correct earphone, then u will love it

im using Mylar x3i ~ it have vocal, clarity and enuf bass for all genre

tried N82 in front of aircon... same result

My n82's keypad part looks fragile. When i press the keys, there's those ngek ngek sound, like there's not enough support below it. Is that normal? If not can i get it fixed by warranty? Posting this via opera mini

Had a play around with a friend's new E71.. The cursor button is so nice feel compared to N82 one...(like it'll come off anytime!)

Ahh.....this problem occurs due to the panel part of the keypad. Some pry open and add some glue ( I think) then stick it back so won't got the squeaking or "nyek nyek" sound when using the keypad. I already sent my Nokia N82 to the shop where I purchase it. Almost 2 weeks already still no news from them. Sent to the shop where you purchase so they can help you pry open the panel and fix the problem for you. Hope this helps. Missing my Nokia N82. T_T

Meaning it's a common problem? If yes them it's fine, i was worrying mine is a recond set or something. And there's a dust below my screen, don't dare to force open the the screen part to remove the dust. The more i look at the phone the more sexy it looks, especially the back part. Black unit.
