juz go nokia website and download the sis file. Juz install it(overwrite)..no need worry..i tried many times edi.. no problem..

yep it is independent to the application. U can check it in Tools>Connect>Landmarks..

nokia map is the simplest GPS application i found so far...hehe..i installed garmin too..but need ahem it..and the interface not as nice as nokia maps. May i knw whts ur usage?

GUYS!!! How unlucky of me these days. Yesterday I was changing my pant for badminton in toilet. And accidentally fall my n82 on the floor. That was like 1m height. And the result is the front upper part of the phone. (Near the right side of the screen) cracked. WTF.... now I'm thinking of changing the housing. How much do they usually charge for super high quality housing? And how's the quality of it?

Weird thing, dunno whether it's because of the fall, my phone auto shutdown for no reason in my pocket. However this only happened once just now. You guys having this problem b4?

Norns, I think it's SDHC (SD high capacity) and it's called class 4. Class 4 means either read or write speed is 4MB/s which is quite fast adi. Correct me if i'm wrong. ^^

its make me miss my n81 ..beautifully loud speaker nor headphone...

more on that my ringtone vol also set lv7....aihz...i luv 2 used headphone play music(3.5mm audio jack)..
the more nice quality of headphone,more obviously i can hear that noise...

I did encounter some "bizz" or "boot" sound when u play music. Even I plug my Sonic Gear 3 speakers to the headphone's audio port, there is still got that sound. Even you did not use your phone or click any keys, there is still got that annoying "boot" sound. Does this got to do with the AP set or Original set? I would like to hear some comments from other users especially original N82 owners.

i juz noticed tht n81 8gb has touch sensitive navi-wheel...sad tht n82 doesnt have this..

say guys.... I wanted to try Nokia Maps 2.0 and downloaded it. And also I understand that navigation is free, but not voice turn by turn navigation is not free.

But after I install it (I've never used Nokia Maps 1.0 before) and tried to use it, it does not allow me to navigate and instead require me to purchase the license.

Has anyone used Nokia Maps 2.0 before? Can please assist me? I want to test it first before I decide if I wanna use Nokia Maps 2.0 or Garmin XT.

Ermm about the audio quality of n82, I dun think it's good. I've been using SE for years and Sony's audio quality is the best. I dun talk about the built in speaker of the phone, wat i mean is using external speaker and great headphone. With same external hardware, n82 produce only average sound quality comparing my previous phone, w810i and G900. For audio hardcore that really mind about superb audio quality, n82 is not ur choice. *peace*

restart done already...dun wan 2 reformat...$$$.,..wahaha...the bluetooth prob is i cannot receive and send any bluetooth signal at all...not only 2 phone but 2 devices as well....waaa....sad laaaa

Oh shi! The theme I installed two ways back is very problematic. First off it will not use the ringtone of my choice, but just the default Nokia tune. Secondly it kills my multimedia button (although I don't use it, but I don't like it bothering the button without my permission). Now that I have uninstalled the theme, my ringtone works again but the multimedia button cannot be revived. Any idea except for formatting the entire thing?
