You don't like N82's lens cover? IMO N82's lens cover has less chance of being opened accidentally, while N79's, if it's too loose, it might be another K800i in which its camera lens always slip by its own. I like N82's better 

What do you mean by not functioning? No respond after pressing? I personally find that button pretty useless, and annoying when I accidentally pressed it. It serve no purpose to me at all.

It'd be a big plus if N82's battery can be improved and there's an additional LED besides of the xenon flash, can use as torch light or video capturing light 

izzit u change edi ur themes?i encountered dis problem b4 since i change themes...try restart if problem still on den the themes might effect ur multimedia keys...
so change another themes will be fine...
beside that its not jus theme,mayb installed some pluggins or some software which effect too(sisx)...
try remove it

Fingernail? Kidding or for real? Someone suggested using a credit card, but the card is too thick to squeeze into the gap (is there even a gap?).

Near the data transfer port? That's located way up and not any near to the keypad. The sound is especially loud when I press the plastic around the keys, a loud SQUUUEEAAAKK. I actually see a gap between the keypad cover and the red or green button. Any precautions I should take before starting? Or is there even any complete guide for this?

for the squeak sounds on n82,yea it did happen 2 my blackie too but not so obivious bah,its depend on which area...

I'm not sure, maybe you have some battery hogger apps running in the background, or maybe you have all the battery sucking settings? I have my brightness to the lowest, low backlight timeout, bluetooth off, WLAN off, 3G off. 2 days is still fine in my opinion, a 1 hour charge for 2 days use.

Not sure about saving a web page, but you can download files using Opera Mobile. Files like images, videos etc.
Using 8.65, which is the latest for S60. Why?
You can open multiple window in Opera Mini, but it works the same as tabs I guess.

The picture appears as a broken image (the ship icon). Browse through the settings but there is nothing like "display image". Any idea?
I don't know how to start a new window. But when I click on a link that will open on a new window (like when you click on external link on LYN), it will load in a new window. You can switch through the window by pressing 5, then left right navigating the tabs. Let me know if you can figure out how to start a new window. Not Opera Mini, but the S60 browser that comes with the phone itself.
