Hi All, I am currently am having an original Xbox 360 premium. The one with the HDMI port one. I've had it since Dec last year and so far it has been treating me well. Lately I have noticed that I get artifacts when I'm playing Rainbow 6 vegas. It was only on that game that I saw it, and then yesterday, when I downloaded Devil May Cry demo... I also saw a bit of artifacts while playing with the Demo. Throughout this months, there were i think 2 times (one time just yesterday the other time long long ago) that my Xbox just kinda stopped after showing the Xbox360 Logo. After that I restarted and it ran along fine without any problems. Are this normal or Should I get ready to send it for a warranty in Singapore? Sigh... please help.

Please note that so far all other games like orange box... assasin's creed and GOW etc I have not seen artifacts or faced problems

i do think ur 360 got some minor probs...for sure..thats not normal..better send it to singapore...it may be earlier stage sign of 3rod

Possible , especially the lock up at 360 logo showing out part . If the lock up get serious , then most probably its going to happen .

However IIRC , SG won't replace anything else than 3ROD .

Har?? But no 3 Rod how to send? Plus the lock up was only 2 times and both also very very far apart. Sigh... any other diagnostics? the only thing that is consistent is the artifacts on rainbow 6 vegas. by the way, if i have a stand fan and just let it blow on my xbox 360 when i play will it be better?

the stand fan wont help your console mate...like breakthru said lockup at 360 logo showing part , thats is early symptom of 3rod...of course ur console didnt show the lights yet...coming soon when things getting worst.

Sigh... so nothing much I can do except to wait for it to get the 3rod right? Hopefully its a false alarm... this is my second 360 somemore leh.

some people have their 3rd anf 4th 360 console...dont worry meh...warranty 3 years.
