Our office just got broken into this morning around 5am. Witness accounts that it was done by a group of motorcycle gang around 10+ people. The cut the downstairs grill and also the padlocks. They even trying to break into the upstairs lot but luckily the tenants woke up because of the sound and they chase them away.
But luck was not on our side. Plasma tv, laptop, portable HDD, cameras, spawn action action figures are among the missing items. Luckily we didn't kept much cash in the office during the weekend.
So people of Petaling Jaya/Kelana Jaya, beware and always keep vigilant.

QUOTE PETALING JAYA: The gang of Mat Rempit who attacked a Filipino woman in Kelana Jaya on Tuesday menaced another woman just 10 minutes later.
Sources said the woman, in her 30s, was waiting at a bus stop in Kelana Jaya when she was surrounded by the group and punched in the face.
Staggering backwards, the woman jumped into the drain and threw her handbag at them, hoping they were only trying to rob her.
Luckily, it was exactly what the Mat Rempit wanted. They sped off after picking up the handbag. Reliving her ordeal: Marilou who was attacked by a group of 15 Mat Rempit in Jalan SS4C, in Kelana Jaya and then dragged on the road recalling her traumatic experience.
She lodged a report at the Kelana Jaya police station where she met the Filipino woman who was hit twice on the head with a metal pipe and dragged by her hands for about 2m along the road by her attackers.
Despite the two incidents, Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Arjunaidi Mohamed denied that the area had become crime-prone and that such muggings were rampant.
“Over the past several months, we busted several snatch theft groups that not only operated in the Kelana Jaya area but in other areas of Petaling Jaya too,” he said.
“However, we believe there are still several such groups operating. My men are constantly on crime prevention rounds and, hopefully, we will find the culprits as soon as possible.”
Filipina Marilou C. Pingol, 38, a market researcher, was walking with her cousin to the Kelana Jaya LRT station at around 6am when the Mat Rempit gang blocked her and demanded her handbag.
Her cousin could only watch helplessly as he had three parangs pointed at him while the Mat Rempit surrounded her. http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...9465&sec=nationI believe this is done by the same group that ransacked our office.
