The Impul version should have LED rear light. Btw, it looks better than Civic.

Dead thread? I've seen a lot of Sylphy on the road in Ipoh lately... I wonder this thread is inactive because it's a certified "uncle" car? I'm super interested in this car... God-willing will be new owner soon!

Anybody a Sylphy owner here? Share your experience please! TQ!

Nissan is promotion with discount rate and interest rate at 1.99% for Sylphy.

Very attractive package. Sylphy has lots of electronic technology like CVt and so on, wonder it last long or not? Previous City model has problem with thier CVT gear box for the 7 speed mode. How reliable is the CVT?

Beside the outlook, Nissan has done a good job and quality for the interior. Exterior is for ppl to c n interior is for the owner to enjoy.

FYI, the width of the Sylphy 1695mm is the same width of Livina 1690mm. Altis n Civic are wider 1750mm but Altis shorter in wheel base 2600mm compare to Civic n Sylphy 2700mm. So Civic and Sylphy are more spacious. Cons of Sylphy is its steering which is not telescopic n exterior.

I have shorlisted Sylphy but would like to know more about it especially the cons.

Please share your comment (beside the exterior).

I think it's different story if compare with honda accord.
becoz the new accord is targeting business man/fathers
it looks like those who driving Mercs in the old days.

but slyphy is in that range.
so i preferred it to look younger.
not so shinny. nod.gif

From Paul Tan website, China has launched the facelift of Sylphy. Looks good. Lots of goodies compare to Malaysia version. LCD display with GPS and controls on steering wheel. Its always the case where Malaysia car maker/dealer takes advantage of Malaysian buyers by giving less goodies and making more profit.

because malaysia is a very price sensitive market.
people here look at 3 things: engine size, body size, and price
screw the specs.

Sorry to hear about that. But what leongwk15 said is right. You should bring it back to Nissan first to avoid any warranty void

I hope you have send your car to authorised Nissan Service Center.

Beside this, how is your car doing, in terms of FC and reliability? What is your mileage now?

In this forum, I read a lot of complain about Sylphy,

1) FC not really that good
2) Poor interior built workmanship. Creeping sound at dashboard
3) Back boot quite warm/hot after long distance as the insulation against the exhaust is insufficient.

Do you have any of this problem?

Maybe some other ppl can comment abit on this.
