The sim card is a postpaid plan or has nothing on it? If its a postpaid then i need to pay monthly rental fee for maintainin that sim card to be active?
*
that sim card is specially registered for u to use the celcom broadband. the monthly rental is that rm68 for basic package and 98 for advanced package to keep the connection active.

btw, this morning i got hsdpa signal whn im back in pg. but the signal gave slow speed. now i got back to utms signal but can get high speed. weird le. pg ppl congested with the advanced package user ar tongue.gif

actually the huawei e220 modem offered by the wireless broadband agents (celcom, maxis) is quite decent to use. but they will sell it at around RM 499.

here in garage sales got ppl sell zte modem for rm 300 there. go check it out.

it affects my work and downloads too. but what to do, they are monopolizing the ISP industry in this country, though now celcom is independent from TM

wa...
always wanna ask som1 bout celcom broadband...
lucky find this thread rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

im planning on using celcom broaband, so there is a couple of things i wanna ask.. rclxub.gif
hope pros out there help me answer icon_rolleyes.gif

1. about the 5gb usage policy, it say that the speed will decreased if we exceed that limit rite?? so i wanna know, will the speed jz decreased once or will it keep on
dercreasing until our next bill cycle???
2. can celcom broadband user use torrent?? bcoz one of my fren use it , and he said taht he cant use torrrent..he said that the downloads wont move...

so , anybody ... please help me... notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
1. i heard it's juz capped for 64kbps for 3g, 128kbps for hsdpa. will be constant at this speed till next bill cycle.

2. for torrent, i cn dl it more smoothly compared to streamyx, but must be popular torrent la. like on-running eng series.

they impose the fair policy coz they dun hav the technology to sustain many users at a time, but stil wanna take in so many customers. msian companies mmg lidet de, get customers then only provide service, for example get buyers only build house.
