if u really do dl average 500mb per day (if u manage to, during these days, the speed is terrible)
u can't really survive uncapped for 10 days...if celcom really apply 5gb limit cap, u wil b cap b4 10 days..
coz they count the SUM of bandwidth SENT & RECEIVED...means not only downloading wil influence it..

however, its still not recommended to take celcom nowadays due to its terrible speed..
even new subscriber wil experience speed like being capped...

previously before october, i get fast speed & never get capped for massive downloading..
but now, even after both 1st of month & bill cycle date, still the speed is same as if being capped..

celcom tech ppl has "purposely" capped all users to
64kbps. you need to report to MCMC to uncapped ur
account. now I gain my speed back again.

I didn't even use my Celcom Broadband for the past 3 weeks and if they put me in the capped category. I'll definitely make sound this time.

Back to hometown using Streamyx now because really sick with Celcom. I just want everything to be rectified by next week.

IF complain to MCMC, they will call us to reconfirm celcom bb no? Then just wait for the prob to be rectified?

My speed also not improve yet! Celcom speedtest shows only 69kBps (average) and 182kBps (max)!!!
FYI, my line is not capped currently. Just passed my billing cycle few days ago.

Exactly! They just wanna make sure that they deceive you for the first 7 so-called "cooling-off" days. Then that's where 5GB quota come in. Every new subscriber will be "Holy ****! This is faster than streamyx!". They let you laugh for awhile and after that, they slap you with a speeding ticket. Opps! I forgot to mention they are currently upgrading the state-of-the-art highways from 8 lanes to 1 lane. And offers free upgrade from a jet-powered car to a bicycle...

I hope Maxis 3G salesmen reading this and used this 5GB fair-usage policy to muscle their campaign and hopefully, win ex-Sialcom customers. Well, I dont know how good is Maxis 3G since there is any coverage in my area.

For your info Maxis fair usage policy is worst than Celcom. Maxis cap their custs after 3GB usage.
