hey guys, anyone know theres a badminton court at sungai way which RM20 for two hours?

I just now nearby Times Square there's a badminton hall, quite pricey, RM15-20 per hour...

Do your people think racket broke like this should get warranty??

Brought this Victor Super Star at Dec/08, RM159, then May/09 after take it back from re-string and play it for an hour then the racket suddenly broke when I smash, waste my RM38 for the new string BG80 + new karakal grip also, damm, then take it for warranty, and last week the shop told me cannot get warranty coz he say it is user mistake make the damage, not manufacture defect; and BTW I never bend the racket never put it under hot temperature/sun, always put it in my room and only take it to the game once a week, I am not a hard offensive player also.

stay at bukit jalil, where is the nearest badminton court available... no transport, hope someone could fetch me if possible, thanks

victor super star famous for its fragility, i saw few cases using same racket, strung around 23-25lb, saying racket broke when smash/stroke during game. The area broke were all at 2/10 oclock, but your case is unique, should be material defect, not player fault.

anyway, lets carry on, forget this model and scout for better 1, Apacs Nano9900, Nano900, Edgesaber are the best bet.

The karakal grip stil can be re-used, just remove slowly without damaging then re-wrap, there you go ! no wastage

O. . . Victor super star famous for its fragility?? I don't know also, first time use Victor racket, then how about others Victor series racket? no good also?

Actually I quite like this Victor super star racket, I string it at tension 25lbs, the max tension on the racket label show is 28lbs; this racket is quite light and medium flex, control and smash is better then my previous Yonex Titanium racket and Carlton Powerflo 807, now using Yonex Nanospeed 500.
always heard people mention about Apacs, is Apacs racket really better if compare the same price range racket between Apacs and Yonex? e.g: Apacs Nano9900/Visible Hallow 1200/Nano Fusion Power vs Yonex Armortec 50/Armortec 150/Nanospeed500, I am aiming for another RM150++ racket.

no.. only one type of shoes for badminton only which is the rubber one.. whether u play at rubber court or cement ground also advisable to wear the rubber one to prevent slippery when playing

Omage007: the model you had probably the low range, victor has higher range which is pricier (bravesword,nanotech,superwaves etc)

As your budget <Rm200, there many to choose, proace,fleet,carlton etc. Apacs Nano9900 & Visible Hollow 1300 worth trying, Carlton powerflo is not bad too. Yonex AT series, AT 70 mega, Muscle Power also alright...All depends the budget & outlook preference.

yup, low range modal, it seem like all below RM200 racket is consider low range, my skill is not yet qualify for mid range or high end racket. . .

yup, nowadays got so many racket brand, too much choice make it hard for choice decision also, last 2 week just got a RM120 Protech racket recommended by the shop, after try it for 5 minutes in the court I decide to take it back to the shop the next day trade in for RM75, the racket seem like got zero vibration absorb when perform smash or baseline return, totally failed, so it make me wonder is those RM150+- Apacs will be the same thing also, but after go through some comment from those Apacs user at the web, I think I am going to try either EdgeSaber 10 or Nano9900 or Visible Hollow 1300. . .

about the Carlton Powerflo 807, I feel that it is not as steady as the Yonex Nanospeed 500 & Victor Super Star; anyway, it already gone coz crash with others racket last year. . .

PS : spray some shieldtox to your screen to make it away. . .
