With all the posting on recommending you to get more memory for you computer system to run a smooth Windows Vista, why don't you get the memory module from PC Fair as it's the last day and the price of the memory may drop at the eleventh hour! Who knows... smile.gif

Yeah, it varies from one person to another, depending on your requirements and utilization.
Vista Ultimate is the most complete version, however, no point using it if you are not going to fully utilize the additional features, which I personally feel it's cater more to corporate users. For me, Home Premium is enough already.

If use those *ahem* Vista, we didn't care about what version should we get. Directly lots of ppls will choose Ultimate. But when it come to buying a genuine copy, what is the best for money? Currently I use win xp pro and planning to get vista. Last time, the differences between Win XP Home and Pro were noticeable. So how about current version of vista (Home Premium and Ultimate?

Maybe its your mobo driver only support up to XP only, happened to me also din notice that my mobo driver din support Vista flex.gif , dled vista version from the net and it solved the problem + sound back.

To those who want to upgrade XP to Vista, this is a good guide and for you to decide whether to upgrade or not, i read this b4 i upgrade too. though i see your specs........i think gonna take a loongg way to upgrade
