If get headphones for gaming + some music + little movies, would steelseries be a good choice? Or would it be better to get more audiophile brands? Also has to be coupled with the lousy integrated notebook sound card sad.gif

Hey Ash, how's the Sennheiser HD555 compared to the 5H V2?

HD555 is perfect for both gaming and music

5hv2 sucks badly for music but its more precise than hd555. the footsteps on 5hv2 are very very clear. not to say hd555 is worse for gaming but if you're getting a headset only for FPS games like CS or COD then go for 5hv2 other than that, HD555 all the way biggrin.gif

Ah, I see. I suppose so since they mentioned that the 5HV2 amplifies those critical sounds. But how about the direction of the sounds? How well does it project it? I've read one comparison of the two, stating that HD555 actually delivered a more precise location of the sound, whereas the 5HV2 delivers a general area of the sound origin only.

Planning to save up for either one of these. Or if somehow I manage to get a friend at US to help, probably get the Audio Technica AD700, quite a lot of positives over these two models. Costs $100+ there, but RM1200 here sleep.gif
