LOOK there are'nt many ways but the best by far is to play with a dial up streamyx modem with an ethernet cable and most importantly play with singaporean,indonesian,malaysian(duh) and indian.check my gamer tag friends lists and you will be garanteed the best connection at around 9.30pm-12.00am but mostly for gears of war and call of duty 4

Added on July 31, 2008, 1:35 pmi'm doing this so that hopefully all malaysian players will be connected and playing with a good connection instead of having an american calling you a chainsaw noob when you are
actually a freaken pro in gears hahahaaha........

One of the most important things to remember is you share the connection with other people in the same house is that whatever they're doing can affect your speed. ie. Skype.. WOW.. YouTube.. Torrents..
So remember to unplug them first if you want a lag free experience.

Also, just because the other guy is in Malaysia doesn't mean that your connection will be lag free. Depending on what provider they use, the connection might still be shit ie. Some of those condo broadband providers.

The only way to get a lag-free xbox experience when playing games is that;

GET A 16mb line smile.gif

Probably won't see much difference, you are still going to have the same ping after upgrading.

Good point, but if you restrict yourself to playing with only ppl from S'pore, Indo and M'sia....you kinda lose out on the fun of XBL right? There aren't many things in life as satisfying as opening a can of whoop-ass on some annoying, teenage, american brat...muahahah

I wonder when Malaysia will reach South Korea's standards (if ever), where we all enjoy a 60MB line...sighhh.

yes! get a 60mbps or even 100mbps line, but with 384kbps upload. that would make it lag free!
