Call in and ask to remove the monitor. Usually you get to do more by calling in.

How are you going to play really high definition videos (1080p mate) without a GC capable of hardware decoding? Unless.. intel x3100 is capable of that. I'm never sure which intel GC supports hardware decoding.

Bad buy unless intel x3100 can do hardware decoding.

It is probably cheaper to use amd/ati hardware too. On power requirements, I'm not sure, heard some amd is more power efficient than atom albeit the big board size (dunno how to say this, the thing that got the processor glued/soldered on it, whatever you call it).

Dell does custom mobos right? So go buy amd/ati chips and slap it on an itx form factor lol. Sorry if I act fanboyish, I do prefer c2d for my gaming pc you know. AMD is just simply cheaper for this purpose.

Good design nonetheless, looks perfect for an HTPC.

EDIT:RM2k without considering monitor? sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Congrats bro~~~. you got a nice studio Hybrid !!!! not a normal regular desktop but it's combination of notebook&dekstop concept so called Hybrid ( I guess... )
Mind to share your new studio spec?

I guess you have also ordered with Blu-ray drive. hereby also wanna answer your question. [ at the same time also clear blindbox 'doubt ]
system come with blu-ray drive ordered will with come with together Blu-ray acceleration Decoder card installed too.
if you dare to tear down your new system, you will see the actual card look like:
the steps can refer: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/syst...s.htm#wp1180146

p/s: RM2k without monitor coz blu-ray drive still expensive I guess.....

coupled with this device... the most affordable wireless kb cum mouse device.
only bad thing is you need to get the BT dongle yourself, the KB do not supply you with one.
