i am very noob in auto detailing. Any sifu can teach ar? I normally Wash car with car shampoo and then dry it then wax it with Kit Metallic Wax. That is all.

Just want to know is my step correct for washing and waxing?

1)Rinse car
2)Use PolyGlaze Wash and Wax Shampoo with foam to wash
3)Then clay with PG no:1 (my car metal gray) then rinse of panel by panel
4)Use Soft99 Meta to wax with Wax sponge then buff off with MF cloth
5)Use Kit Metalic Wax with wax sponge then buff off with MF cloth

Is my step correct?

if no: 2 Sponge not ok, then i will change to MF to wash

My car only 2 month old (metal gray), but it fail in light test, can see a lot swirls with light shining at it at certain angle, no idea how to remove it, any compound can first those swirl? i using Hand waxing.


I bought a cheap wax sponge for waxing....but it did more swirl than prevent when apply a little pressure while waxing.

Under some light can see light swirl and scratch. Also some water mark, heard vinegar can remove water mark.
Haiz... Just Kit wax and Fusso Coat it yesterday.

When have detailing session? Maybe can find the time to go see the sifu works

Never mind la...No visible yet, wait till it swirl badly then only buy,....I now try maintain not to increase swirl and scratch with proper wash and wax i learn from here.

Wow....i wish my car have those kind of reflection....

if u send ur car to normal road side car wash , u will get swirls mark more than a clean car.....

is a wax

Still doing good. Wash car every week or 2 week and wax car every month by hand., But sometimes my mom see my car dirty, she will wipe with water+ MF cloth..(improper technique and 1 bucket of water only) cause some scratch and swirls. ( Cannot complain later no food to eat )

Now going to dump the Kit Wax, ( cannot last) , now using Fusso Coat. ( not enough to spend on premium item, can last longer that kit Wax).
8 month old car still look ok but have light swirls even though use proper method to wash and dry.

Wish to attend one of ur TT session if have time. also the Powerclean product look like can clean a lot things.

Anyone came accross this product? is it safe for the clear coat?

KC , u got any idea of the link i post? the water repellant things, is it clear coat safe?

Haiz....really no idea how to remove water mark and some light scratches.
Already use Soft 99 also cannot remove, guess is time for me to get a rotary,

that day saw some water mark at car bonet, use some wax and applicator use a bit strenght to remove the mark....but i think i created a lot of swirls in the process...those swirls can only be seen in certain light angle....dam sad now
