This is the end result of mine after spending about 6+/- hours on it.

And before anyone asks, I'm not in Malaysia, but I'm a Malaysian. smile.gif

wax it. don't polish it. best you do the whole process, wax and seal etc.

Put it this way. You spend half a day getting your car properly protected and you'll save yourself money on troubles down the line. A good sealant would only need to be reapplied every year. And a good wax prolly every 2-4 months depending on how often you drive, where the car is parked etc.

You can pay someone to do it if you want to. I'm not sure where to recommend in terms of a good detailer. I'm sure others here would have an idea.

This is what I did when I first got my car.

1. Wash.
2. Dry.
3. Clay bar a little of the front as there were some stubborn grimes there.
4. Deep clean.
5. Sealant.
6. Wax.
7. Spray on detailer.
8. Rims&Tyres.
9. Glass.

I'm no expert but this is how I do it.

1. Lightly spray the engine bay with water then degreaser. Do not spray water directly at the engine.
2. Leave for a few minutes then scrub with a brush.
3. Spray down with water.
4. Wipe down with microfiber towel. Turning on the engine for 10-15 minutes before drying makes it easier.
5. Spray engine bay with engine detailer.
6. Repeat step 4.

Hope this helps.

Waxed and did some minor detail work on interior and exterior of my car today.

why makes life so difficult & why not show us in detail instead of pic....
i dont seems to see that practise in any international arena
I don't really get what you're trying to imply here? I don't see anything wrong with taking pictures. And working alone, when your hands is all dirty and full of wax isn't exactly the most convenient time to take pictures. I'm not a professional detailer like you are. I don't see the need to take pictures of every single step I do.
