Sifu sekalian,
i want to ask you guys about layering whilst waxing / sealing. is it pointless to layer LSPs like NXT 2.0 since it has cleaning abilities, thus not being layered but rather replacing the earlier layer? can we layer sealants and does it end up being layered instead of mixed? i have put on a layer of Klasse AIO and a week later, a layer of Klasse SG. Is it pointless to keep layering SG? |

thanks!! TQVM.. by the way, in our weather, is it better to use cold water for Klasse SG application or just normal temperature water? TQ |

After moving to an apartment with an outside parking, I became lazy in washing my car as I have minimal access to water access and proper washing location...
Last weekend, I went back to my parents' place and had a good clean up! 1. Wash 2BM with NXT Shampoo + Meg's MF mitts 2. Clayed with PG No. 3 3. Tar remover aerosol spray 4. Soft99 Chrome can Cleaner Wax 5. PG Polymer Sealant My old waxes are unusable (i think) since they have been in storage without usage for 2 years during my study break. I guess all my NXT 1.0 Tech Wax, Meguiars M21 2.0, Megs GC Liquid Wax, Klasse Twins AIO + SG can throw already LOL... happy with the beading after the car kena rain late evening and no watermark this morning though it rained last night.. smooth to the touch and looks pretty ok i guess for products worth RM70:) |

QUOTE(arayz @ Dec 4 2012, 01:36 PM) hehe... better start slow and steady and get the techniques right first http://www.pgpermaglass.com/index.php?opti...=276&Itemid=389 you should have this too. after wash, just mix some shampoo into a spray / mist and use the clay bar to smooth out the paint after that i used this too http://www.pgpermaglass.com/index.php?opti...=291&Itemid=389 remove the black tar stains on then i applied Soft 99 in the metallic can (since i have it at home, why not) to clean the paint and then lastly (LSP) only the PG Polymer Sealant |

I tried my new bottle of UQW by Meguiars last week
1. On a car with PG Polymer Sealant which was previously washed, clayed, and Soft99 Cleaner Wax-ed. After 2 weeks on the PG Polymer Sealant, water beading has reduced substantially. I bought the UQW from one of the forumers here, Longshot and tested it out. First, it smells heavenly fruity haha. glossy and adds a nicer deeper shade of color to my car's electric blue paint. water beading is amazing even after 2 heavy downpours and 1 wash using Turtle wax car wash (green-ish bottle). 2. on another red painted car with no claying or wax whatsoever, just a normal wash, immediately became a deeper shade with nice beading (tested for fun) and smooth smooth "just waxed" feel although the surface is noticeably rougher than the previous car no.1. Love the product! |
