Hi Sifus

I'm having trouble deciding which wax to buy for my car.
Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Wax or Ultimate Wax.

This is my first time waxing my car, so I would like your feedback on these two products or any recommendations of others.

Thank you.

hi buddy, i understand your situation as you see so many kind of meguiar's waxes on the shelf. maybe you might dont know which one to choose cause its all the same waxes.
Megs Gold Class Carnuba
natural carnuba, very wet look/high gloss, however it doesnt last long due to our weather, prefer for dark color car.

Ultimate Wax
synthetic wax, nice water beading, can apply under the sun, will last longer than carnuba, not as wet look as carnuba.

for dark color car- please note before apply this 2 product, you need to prep your surface properly as it will streak after buffing off. i have another choice for you which is OCW (Optimum Car Wax)

OCW
UV resistant, nice water beading, just spray and wipe, contains a little carnuba, will not streak on any other color, nice fragrance.
Hi Muyo,

thanks for the feedback. In my case, it is a Bayside Blue Suzuki Swift. So can I use Gold Class initially, then maintain the finish using Meguiar's Quik Wax/Ultimate Quik Detailer?

water magnet is enough to dry one car without wringing provided you rinse the car with free flowing water after wash.

Well, I bought the Water Magnet for RM45, and its the best drying cloth I've ever used for my car.

Why I like Meguiar's is simply because I tried them and they worked quite well for me, so I stick to them.
