Wax Marks..
Hi guys,
I just spent quite a couple of hours washing my car clean and after leaving the car under the sun to dry, I applied a layer of wax using the provided sponge in circular motion throughout the body of my car. After that, I used a chamois and started wiping the wax (as per instructions on the wax's can)..
After completely wiped off the layer of wax, I noticed the wax marks that stays on the body of my car. No matter how hard i wipe/rub them also they won't come off..
is this normal??? will the layer of wax slowly blend in after a few washes?
any ideas? thanks.

RedBox, I'm using the products from Waxco. Didn't really noticed the product having such instructions of where I should wax/polish my car. Anyhow, thanks for the advice. I'll be shopping for some new products to re-detail my car all over again. Btw, any ideas how I can remove scratches from my paint? My pet dog jumped on my driver's side door and made scratches on my door.. It's kinda noticeable, well what do you expect from them German Shepherd Oh yeah, how much does a rotary buffer machine costs?

Not really, sometimes those tiny lil dust/dirt that gets stuck in the cloth you use to clean your car and be the cause to those fine scratches.. although my car came with wax marks

QUOTE(lonewolf @ Jun 22 2005, 10:51 AM) There is no way that you can eliminate the find scratches. Unless, you put ya car at home for showcase most of the time and don't wash often. Even though if u send to car care centre and ask for sanding service, after a few washes the scratches will appear back. So, getting a fine scratchless surface while you use your car often, park outside, wash often...then this scratchless dream is just another dream. Just my 20cent yeah i know about that, which is also why after polishing/waxing job on my own.. i'll just leave it as there's nothing much i can do about them..

haha... ^cash^ , orange skin is actually a term for paint surfaces that isn't smooth (eg, park your car under a lighted fluorescent lamp then check the reflection on your paint surface.. if it looks wavy, it'll look like orange skin ) how people get rid of it is usually to give the car a good polishing and waxing job.. sometimes, that includes sanding as well.. i'm not sure how to do it but i know those professional car care centre should be able to get it done

if got, tell the uncle i'm willing to help wax the girl up jk! btw, to do a proper detailing session from ground up.. is it necessary to use dish washing liquid? i mean.. to remove all layer of protection to get to the layer where the scratches/swirls are visible.. after using the dish-wash.. do you clay or use scratch-x? =.="
