i frm east malaysia, nowdays always raining, so i wax my car almost 3 week times, now if raining. u feel there no more wax on the lower door and bumper side, easily get dirt.
the upper part and bonet stil gt  the effect, rain drop will easily drop but getting faded. i using meguiars new car kit which included ULW.

but when u touch the car surface, it stil smooth, and my car is juz 1 month old.

You shall try Permanon then. It lasts longer. With proper surface preparation, it can last few months.

I tried my new bottle of UQW by Meguiars last week

1. On a car with PG Polymer Sealant which was previously washed, clayed, and Soft99 Cleaner Wax-ed. After 2 weeks on the PG Polymer Sealant, water beading has reduced substantially. I bought the UQW from one of the forumers here, Longshot and tested it out. First, it smells heavenly fruity haha. glossy and adds a nicer deeper shade of color to my car's electric blue paint. water beading is amazing even after 2 heavy downpours and 1 wash using Turtle wax car wash (green-ish bottle).

2. on another red painted car with no claying or wax whatsoever, just a normal wash, immediately became a deeper shade with nice beading (tested for fun) and smooth smooth "just waxed" feel although the surface is noticeably rougher than the previous car no.1.

Love the product!

yeah.. i just tried UQW during my last car wash. super fast!! done waxing in less than 1/2 hour.. biggrin.gif
QUOTE(mscw88 @ Dec 24 2012, 05:11 PM)
One more thing....UQW even hide the swirl mark !!!  thumbup.gif
*
good to know. not that i have any swirl marks.. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(anep @ Dec 24 2012, 05:20 PM)
fuuu UQW better than ULW?
*
well UQW is all about speeding up the time required for waxing. just mist and wipe off. no more aching arms.. biggrin.gif According to Meguiar's, ULW is far more superior in terms of durability.

how many times did you wash ur car during the 3 weeks? you can also try using Ultimate Quik Detailer after your car wash for maintenance.

it's a liquid wax, just finished waxing the car. it does cover the light swirls. But for protection I will have to keep an eye on it . rclxms.gif

I think my Turtle Wax Express shine brings out more shine than this, but it may just be me hmm.gif

Hi Bro,

Yes, it is better to clay your car first to ensure embedded dirts are removed from the surface so that Permanon can be bonded on a very clean and bare surface. This would also help Permanon coating to last longer.

yeap use claying.

if really bad (and/or got scratches/swirls) then consider polishing with glass care products

Very tiny little white dots? I hope they're not sand chippings from fast highway driving. If they are then there's no cure exept sending to a glass specialist cuz you'd need cerium oxide and special felt pads to polish those off. I do long distance (balik kampung) frequently and have plenty of them on my front windscreen....have to live with it until I go for replacement.

well im too sure at the moment but i really hope not. i will try to really spot on it to have a clearer look on it. i do travel but not as often as in like balik kampung. since new car until now which is like almost 6 yrs ive never really try to clean my windshield except when im washing the car. it might be also build up dirt/grims over the years. normal car shampoo doesnt get rid of it.

well i'try to clay bar it first to see what is the outcomes. what should i use for as lubricant during claying?
