[attachmentid=2874975]to those detailing gurus out there i need some help.
tried the following on my Black Lexus IS250 with Optimum products.
Clay bar with MGs
LC Orange Pad with Optimum hyper compound on DA speed 6
LC White Pad with Optimum hyper polish on DA speed 4
MG W7006 wool pad with Optimum hyper compound on Rotary 1500RPM
LC White pad with Optimum hyper polish on DA speed 4
both setup did not yield any resulting in deminishing the micro swirls. I tried all pressured and non pressured way as i compound them, I still cant get any mirror finishing result.
I feel like going for MG 205
Anyone knows whats my issue here?>

hi buddy
thanks for sharing
I had a similar encounters, pls be patience - would loves to meet up to show u how to.....
eg

the pad could be dirty or the detailer did not wash & clay prior detailing...look at the round deep scratch..even rounded scratched

this s550 was severely wacked prior delivering to the new onwer, onwers of such ride, usually has driver to chauffer them around & maintain their ride....
i believe this car came with lots of swirls which damaged due to improper washing, prior delivering to the new owner, they agent might have sent to detailing
guess what they got...free HOLOGRAMMING
before

Look carefully the circle RIDs - pig-tails like - was certainly a cause by the dirty wool/foam pads used (not clean periodically) most probably some dust or dirt sticks on the pads used by the previous detailer . * usually sponge used in car washed outside -
after

2nd 50/50 % comparrision pics

close up

I had to compound about 3 times - polish twice
be careful not to over cut & cos endangered in losing yr clear coat
have fun
