hi,

have been using the the Meguiar Gold Class wax and it is finishing soon....the Gold Class doesnt really fill up the swirl marks so i plan to change to another wax soon...

for my next purchase, i plan to get the Meguiar 205 compound, Ultimate Paste Wax and Meguiar M21 sealant to top it up.....

what do you guys think about the M#21 sealant?....from the review, it does wonder to swirl marks and it can last quite long.....

Anyone knows where to purchase all these 3 items?...i hope to purchase the 64oz bottle but i dont seem to be able to find these items locally...sad.gif

Haven't tried M#21. Is it a filler or swirl remover?

Walao, KC, Great job again on that mirror shine.

I guess the key is thoroughly preparing the surface for LSP to achieve good results. For final result did you use Instant Detailer?

Hi all, do you normally use quick detailer or quick wax after washing? I know they have different functions, but which do you prefer? I use the detailer and it brings out a great shine.

Hello sifus again

Just want to check with you fellas. Let's say you notice a medium scratch on your bonnet from 4 feet away, (probably from a cat) , would you use Megs ScratchX or M105 to remove it by hand. I don;t have a DAP or PC..just using the normal yellow polishing foam pads.

After this to be followed up by M205, sealant and wax.

I read that its a pain for ScratchX to break down for its effectiveness using hand. Appreciate your inputs on this.

tried swirlx didnt really work.....took only like 50% of the swirls but hologram was still very visible...hmmmoptimum polish?...where can i get this...isnt this the on the bro KC always uses...
*
yeah, I think KC has it. If the Swirlx is too mild, may have to move up a little step...ScratchX perhaps? This also depends on the type of pad you use.

I will recommend UC. U can just skip SwirlX.. To me, is the most overrated Meguiar's product..

*
In that case, I;ll use my Swirlx like a cleaner polish since its so mild biggrin.gif

I'm currently using Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax as a booster. If compared against Optimum Car Wax or Optimum Instant Detailer, which among the three gives the best gloss/shine? Don't really care about the durability. Thinking of getting a gallon of one of them biggrin.gif

for me..Optimum Car wax..btw where you're getting it from and how much?

Need advice, there's a chewing gum sticking on the roof of my dad exora. Don't know its been there for how long. I manage to removed most of it but still got some residue sticking. What's the best method to remove it?

Read somewhere...olive oil or vinegar

We're talking about white vinegar here of course

Mitts is good but you have to clean properly , as it dirt & finer sands get traps beneath the wool strands...& when it is worn out (pls change)

as for me i would prefer MF - cheap & easily wash & affordable to replace (3 sets ) a year

nothing last for clear coat cleanning - as when we do it so often - we actually creates friction - resulting swirls

best of all - find some thing u like & do it - effortlessly
wash thoroughly & make sure it is well clean before next use - lower area or rims pls use a separate material

cos u dont want to trap these contamination into your next wash

recommended to use gird guard when wash

Another great tip from sifu KC..thanks KC!!!

i have a question here...recently i park my car in carpark basement and some liquid/water drop from the wall, a bit sticky texture..I only realize it after a night then i mmediately wash n wipe wit water unfortunately there is still a small spot that cannot be wipe off even i try using finger to scratch slowly it jus won't go off....can anyone advise me how to deal wit this?

i went to a car wash shop, they recomend to use light sand to grind it off n touch up for me...not sure whether tis is the best solution

Any chance of you loading up the picture of the condition and let the sifus here decide.

Hi KC, is it ok I use OPC 10:1 to clean the car paint before shampoo? With that dilution ratio, I don;t think it's strong enough to remove the lsp. I wouldn't think about doing it every wash but every 3 washes. I notice it also works great on cleaning up the windscreen.
