meguairs one is around RM70..comes with quick detailing spray(lubricant)

soft99..only clay is around RM20..

best if you can get a blue clay in ENEOS...japanese brand..only the clay around RM60...

do remember..different clay do have different rating for the abbrasiveness
*

Nop, is possible that his car no need claying. it all falls back on how well u maintain ya car and how and where you park and use ya car.
*

Yo detailing kakis ... how ya doing?!! Missed out quite a lot since i went MIA ... ehehe

wahh .... meg's naik harga d meh?

hamster9
Use claying n c got effect o not ...den use ColorX on it ... den wax it ... shud heal it more la if cant completely fix it

yeahh
The 1 u got is simaliar to ColorX, it heals the oxidize paint on ur car n it DOESN'T clean as much as it shud. AFAIK ColorX has a lil wax component in it as well ...

For clay, if u refer to the Soft99, there's 2 types, u buy depending on ur car coat. There's 1 for metallic and another i forgot tongue.gif .. i use the light green 1 for my black CT ... Meg's is not bad as well ... but a bit costly

Egie ... u wanna know when ur car needs claying? brows.gif When u wash ur car ..  try feeling her body with ur fingers ... feel her everywhere ... n IF u FEEL ANY  surface which is rough or "not smooth" den u NEED claying tongue.gif .. Sorry to break it to ya ... though waxing is good but usually dirt bonds with wax .. there for even u wax a lot the chances of bonded dirt is there ... worst still it gets cover n "protected" by a new wax job ... so i would suggest a good clay n polish n wax session la wink.gif

BTW, for any detailing shop, make sure they use MF cloths for buffing n drying ...

sweat.gif Me oso learning la ... no sifu ... share share nia tongue.gif
It's part of a car's life ma tongue.gif More scars on a man's body last time more manly ... nowadays i even c some guys skin more smooth den girls :-& ... apala .. out of topic pulak tongue.gif

Anyway stonechip are are too avoid la ... sumtimes no matter how careful u r lo ... so we detail and "hide" it as much as we can lorr .... if can't ma ... live wif it lorrr laugh.gif
*
yea....hard to avoid. how to hide it? buy some paint & DIY with brush? or just leave it? leave it long, it will get attack by rust.

QUOTE(lonewolf @ Jun 5 2006, 10:00 AM)
Stone chips...live with it, is part of the daily driven car
Swirls .... live with it, is part of your weekly car wash thing
one more thing about clay, once u drop on to the floor. You need to throw it away...
*
yr statement making me confuse. rclxub.gif so if both can't be avoid, then y r we here? unsure.gif

erm ... a word of caution ... the dish washing liquid will strip a lot more den juz wax ... so best juz stay away frm that la ... IMHO la tongue.gif .. plus its usually a 1 off thing if u use dish liquid ...

normal wash den clay den wash den polish will do wink.gif

Clay removes quite a lot o stuff ... try it to believe it ...
*

RM1550 for a package of 3 full detailing sessions. Individual sessions would cost about RM700 without the package.
*
