don't get the nxt wax.

get the polymer sealant.

as for your stains , cleaning it with quik detailer+clay and polishing it with something like speedglaze would help , finally , carefully apply a layer of polymer sealant

polymer sealant is either 20 or 26 , can't remember.

well nxt wax is not bad as well :>

nxt wax is the nxt tech series. i prefer the professional series which is numbered like the polymer sealant. i got new steps of polshing as well.

nxt car wash the whole car
then use bug and tar remover to remove all the bug and tar that is sticking on the vehicle , wash again and this time with clay . bosch blower is then used to blow the car dry.

preparation job is done now .

step 1 : diamond cut is used to prepare the surface " always make sure that you don't polish the surface until it becomes to hot " if yes wait a while then continue , after done , water is rinsed to remove all the dust. then blower is used to dry it again, next step is dual action . same thing rinse with water and blow after done, then speed glaze, same as well.

okay this is next. meguair show car glaze no 7 is used . "this is extremely hard to buff off so don't leave it to dry too long" . one layer "do it panel by panel" applied then buff off immediately and when your done, use quik detailer to wipe again.

apply 7 layers of no 7 at least, will take 3 hours.

after your done and your stastify with the wet look aka shine. , apply meguairs yellow wax , a moderate layer "not too thin not too thick for protection.

now here you go , washing once a week with nxt car wash would last you 1 month , after one month , apply a layer of no 7 again then a layer of yellow wax

hi guys, have been browsing through this forum for the past few weeks browsing through the HP information. din realise that you all have a detailing forum here. cool~~.

NXT wax is a polymer sealant.  and d@id, diamond cut is a very aggresive compound. you wouldn't want to use it even twice a year. you would want to use it the first time for a really bad finish, then use something milder like DACP for minor touch ups the following time. Did you know that you can layer NXT wax with No 26? You should try it. Gives better depth. Would love to try GC wax on top of NXT but that will have to wait until I finish my 26. I find that just NXT on my car is sufficient to provide protection for some time. In fact I have 2 layers of NXT and it has been 2 months since. Seems to still be there.

However, that could be due to the fact that I use final inspection after every car wash (which is done about once every two weeks).

Hi Nicky, got your clay bar liao? How about the rest of the items?

popiah , diamond cut is a preparation step. its done before dual action

if stone trap inside the clay ur paint is gone case .

anyway you should not use the quik detailer, take a dispenser, put some meguair shampoo and water . use that to lubricate instead of clay

yeah popiah thats why i say its a first step ler .

if your paint ain't got many defects you don't need diamond cut. just start with dual action .

but then up to date everyone asked here is doing their polishing the first time .

and for diamond cut, diff type of paint should use diff type of polishing pad

there is nothing much you can tune out of any bmw 3 series, given its a 325 , 320 or even a 330 , its low powered. the only solution is to add a turbo.

hrmm

take a lemon , and see how the structure of the skin looks like.

thats what i meant . u will see the exact same thing, lemon peel happens in either the paint stage or the clear coat stage, if it happens on the clear coat stage then your lucky. you can ask them to SAND it off with sandpaper then repolish . but i think keep it first and do it next year since you just paid for it.

Did you mean Zymol? I'm using Zymol for my car, Subaru Legacy GT-B Touring Wagon. So far, I think they make the best car care products.  thumbup.gif

ZYMOL
*
i mean zainol

sorry for the comment but zymol is nothing other then a useless brand. they originated from swissol.

Swissol is a hand made wax. Its a family formula, one day the owner's son married his current wife, and his wife decided to make a mass production and marketing for swissol , too bad the formula cannot be mass produced and the wife don't know it when she and the husband migrated to usa and start this brand called zymol , the waxes produce all suffer from a "basi" problem. no doubt after basi its still having 80% of swissol's result , then someone from malaysia brought it in to sell , too bad, all become basi and he had got a few puluh ribu stucked in those products until one day , one fella came and look for him and wanted all the products @ a price, he told them they has some decoloration on it already but the guy say he don't midn , he is buying it to present it to someone, so the guy sold everything to the other guy. The guy who bought over all the wax is now the company known as Carnuba Autospa.

Not long ago "last year if i am not mistaken", meguairs people challenged carnuba autospa"which only provide waxing job at that moment" to compare their products cause meguairs malaysia people wanted to push meguair polishing product to them , they choose a car bonnet and they start doing what they need too . supprisingly , the best zymol wax which cost a few thousand can only stay on par with meguair's 3 Step Polishing + No 16 Wax. Then they realise that meguair's part has no swirl mark while their do. that is why carnuba autospa is offering polishing with meguair 3 step now as well.

Theese are what i do to my car nowadays

i no longer fancy machine jobs unless the surface is real bad.

I prepare the surface with Klasse AIO
Then i seal the surface with Klasse SG "10 layers over some time"
Then i whack on Meguairs No 16 "but its carnuba so it tends to attract dust"

NEVERMIND

then i get Zainol Z6 "its a spray on detailer that has anti static characteristic, after applying layer to it , whola , like charm and less dust on the car, and everytime i wash my car i just apply another layer of z6.

"IF THE SURFACE IS BAD"
3m 1500 grit machine sand paper x 1 pack
Bosch sanding machine

Okay i will sand the whole car

Then i will use the 3m rubbing compound to get back clear coat effect "but its still blur"
Then i will use Meguair's Diamond Cut to prepare the surface Followed by Dual action and Swirl Free Polish.

I am still not good enough in the machining part, but i can get results on my own car though , so far still practising :>
