The climate of Malaysia is hot and humid throughout the year, the highest SPF Sun block is recommended, Temperature ranging from 21°C (70°F) to about 35°C (95°F). Occasional rain during the period between Oct~Feb helps to bring down the temperature & usually last than an hour. Humidity between 75% and 100%! Clothing? Light clothing is recommended, golf cap, sunglasses & umbrella will reduce the heat of the day. It was another hot afternoon, 32 degrees Celsius , humid & stuffy day This is a brand new Suzuki Swift sport, fully import from Japan, which delivered to my friend. Good looking little ride. But later we discover a can of hidden worms – paint defect on a new ride, paint transfers…..more & more I got to know him, through one of my public detailing session & he contacted me to him detail her. Upon meeting up & viewing the car at night, without much street light....only with my little torch light, i discover patches of paint ..on the front engine hood. almost covered 1/3 of the right hood, only found out after his 1st wash & without realizing during the delivery time, he already complaint to the car sales man (of this defects) & he actually drove this to Megs detailing centre (they even did some wet sanding to demo to the owner) but not complete restore what happen was ...the hood was repainted that quaterly & the car sales claims that it was some overspray......OVER SPRAY WHAT????? some paint flew from the car besides???? make no sense so last sunday, he came over to my place & since another forumer called me ( i invited him along & gave both some private detailing lesson) Car Detailing Lesson Guide 1. Washing 2. Cleaning – claying 3. Correction – paint defects, (removing swirls, water stains, over sprayed paints & minor scratches) Rotary hands on 4. Polishing - to restore the gloss 5. Protecting – opti sealing, wax obvious paint defects with some underlining issue patches of stains only on the repainted area Although- most fine scratches & stain disappear but………………. After wash look good but it resurfaces again now the real issue........... over sprayed vs resprayed???? pics... see t the imperfection of the paint from a new CBU car?????? more at the centre hood...resprayed defects as this car probably store outside for a long time check out the stained pics this is the evident that prove .....its kept a long time & uncover....look inbetween the paint the hood & inside the engine bay another defect orange peels __________________________________ the deeper issue ______________________________________ how can paint got transfered????? the answer is this is a single stage & soft paint...so soft it will get a scratced even from yr finger nails for rest of the write up pls check it out here here |

Alien or not. Great job , Salute. yes its another alien detailing job...i actually did 2 cars in 3 hours ...the other zebra myvi & this....... Its just a small simple gift to my bro in law for his generousity to us....well many gift can be brought by master card ...but moment like this can only repay by gratitude ONR wash 2 caps 8 litre of water sprayed on optiseal buffing opti seal & applied oc wax see i also can detail ....pics of everyone who like to show off their ride now show me your $$$$$$? oppss i mean day light picture mirror shining yet? yummy...reflective hood look at the left look at the right pay close attention i cant even see the different reflection between the plastic light cover & the body mirror shine Hmm?? QUOTE When you see a car on the front cover of a magazine, it was chosen because of photo quality, NOT the car. This is not to say that the cover car is not a nice car. All it says is that covers sell magazines and they will pick the most pleasing, eye catching photo, be damned the car. You cannot see the thousands of hours of detail the car has (or lack of) in that photo. There are millions of cover worthy cars photographed but only a few are cover worthy photos for rest of the write up pls view at here |

I just got my car (etc. black in color) about a month.
Swirl marks is getting worst day by day. What make it worst was I sent my car to SC the other day, they did not notify me about the free car wash and they washed my car. Now my new car has extra small scratches.. >.< I'm totally new in car care. I have no idea how to get rid of the scratches and swirl marks... Can any Sifu here give me some ideas on how to repair car scratches? Or maybe I should read all 63 pages? Thank you. |

I only wash my car myself and not those roadside wash ok alwalys use microfiber cloth to wash , clean , dry and before u start washing , hose off the whole car then only start washing from top to bottom . that's going to keep swirl to the minimum . For the scratches , swirl , use polish to the affected area until the scratches is gone and add a layer of wax to protect it This post has been edited by wilsonjack228: Jun 16 2010, 09:09 PM |
