actually what causes swirls is the cloth we used, the frictions

just be generous in changing them,.,,3 sets at least per yr rather than spending thousand of $$$ just to respray

some time is the method of washing , waxing or material used incorrectly that's what causes swirls . my family has a black car which almost 1 year that I take very good care of it only has light swirls . I have a uncle who have a 2-3 months black car already has heavy swirls which cause by his incorrect method of washing and washing material used . Its very important to use the correct cloth for washing and drying especially black color car rclxub.gif

Mates. can foam pad on a rotary buffer cause swirls?
Reason im asking is because i have this feeling that my car has more swirl marks after I used a Black & Decker Rotary Buffer.

to wash and wax..just use microfiber cloth but please avoid those synthetic one because it doesn't work, the same goes with chamois cloth too..i've test with all sort of sponge before for wash and wax, but in the end microfiber cloth is still the best..

rotary is rotary profesional polishing machine can be quite damnaging....Black & decker is orbitor

look at this 5 series, just arrive from UK...plenty of swirls & the dealer try to cover it by sending it to polish & hologram aka burnt mark from the rotary spinning (look like yr cc hologramming , it moves as the light shinines)

Oh yea. sorry for the wrong info. its an orbital polisher.
I've been using my MF cloth to wipe away the wax after applying it with the polisher, Can I use the wool pads to wipe it off?
Or are the wool pads for something else?

The manual doesn't say much sweat.gif

HI BRO
no worries , arent we all still learning......wipe off after wax we usually term that buffing off wax

micro fibers is the best cos u wouldnt want to take any chances of scratching it

wool pad usually for cutting...more aggressive...the orbitor pads are term as bonnets (as they are worn on it) \

i am trying to get hold a place & organised another detailing session ...why not PM me ya

keep it spinning & keep it up

which part? plastic trims???? what spray are u refering

many of those u buy off from shelf is crappy stuff...the moment u spray on. the very next thing u feel ...its is all oil & like suntan

a good interior protectant not only uv protected but also oil free...so that when u wear u white sleeves u do not get any oilo transfer to it

Well basically the whole engine. engine block to gearbox to plastics.
I read that the car from the factory has a layer of oil coating to protect the components from oxidizing. but when you wash the engine, the degreaser chemicals will strip those apart. I think for the plastic parts I can use interior protectant right. but what about the metal parts?
