wadud, actually pin 7 and 10 conversion is possible. after watching the big guam player does the 7-10 conversion sometimes ago, i managed to do the same a couple of times.
apply extra speed / power to the ball.  hentak tepi pin 10. with some luck, pin 10 melantun balik touching pin 7.
4 - 6 pin conversion is about the same too. hit hard on the outer pin 6 and it will slide slowly towards the pin 4.
btw, most of the time i managed a split conversion back then, i just feel that it was a sheer luck
