yeah, those were the days..tp aku lupe dh name team..huhu.. syiok gile main league tu..century logistic league or sumthng like that.. amin use to cover for shalin tuu...hahaha..
this league, even national bowlers and open bowlers are allowed to join..n they are given -ve handicap..huhu... but the hardest opponents were not the national bowlers.. they were the old men, who played kaw2 once they got drunk..lol..plus they got like 30pins handicap.. one of them almost shot a perfect game when he was drunk n playing against us..the nxt week, when sober, played like crap only...hahaha

mmg drunken master.. the drunker they got, the more strikes they got..haha.. x kisah la, 1-3 pocket ke, brooklyn ke, head pin pun they can get strike.. sakit hati btol.. one of them, richard lai, when playing against us, got 289 w/o handicap when he was drunk..hahaha handicap 30 plak tu.. ahahaha...

yeah, the league there is definitely 1 of the best league around.. in my opinion, joining leagues is one of the best ways to improve ur score, when the standards are high, u will also try harder to stay on par with them.. plus u can use them as practice so that u can handle pressure situations like when u need to strike home for ur team to win..huhu

its good 2 bowl with others, can learn alot from them.. i dont really like the lanes in 1u, x maintained well. since u usually bowl in that area, i recommend u 2 go to shalin's place..pin junction in cineleisure..the lanes there are so much better.

i really urge u to NEVER bowl in mid valley. definitely one of the worst alleys in malaysia.. the place is more for non-bowlers who just wanna bowl with a group of frens since they r already in mid valley..meaning they would just go there since they r already in mid valley doing other stuffs, they wont go 2 mid valley just 2 bowl..

can u imagine, i cant even slide using my dexter sst7 shoe(quite a high end shoe) there.. u might even risk getting injured.. Gerald Samuel (ex-national bowler) who owns a proshop there, told me that he has to use the most licin nye sole (dexter ss5/6/7 can change soles to suit the lanes) and he has to put sliding powder for every shot..ridiculous..

wow 289 handicap 30 haahahhahah...no wonder 220 pong boleh kalah huhuhuhu...huishhh mcm manerlar derang main masa ting tong..tak dpt nak bygkan n some more bertambah power plak tuhh..really a drunken master..

aku pong kureng skit ngan lane 1u..shalin nyer besh but a bit expensive...kalu nak murah main siang b4 5pm 4 game RM10 huhuhu puas hati

lane memang gile berminyak..tapi back end memang bersih...

so bola hook dgn cantiknyer....kalau bola takde reff je kot yang masuk parit....hihihihi

for me, lane kat 1u akan rosakkan cara main...sebab lane are not well maintain...bola boleh rosak main kat situ....

the lane in 1u is really bad..lanes are not maintained well..i got major scratches on 2 of my balls there.. major scratch as in u get a few lines accros the whole circumference of the ball..

lane kat pin junction u have to play relaxed n consitently.. kalo force bola (plus rev x cukup) mmg xde back end la..
pin junction is a very high-scoring lane.. time UITM ISF this year, i played 224 average for all events (16 games) pun dpt 2nd. for all events, top 15 were averaging at least 200. the winner time single yg from singapore tu, played 241 average! 1 guy even shot a perfect game..

any pro-shop sure have the bag. just depending on wat brand or design u want. n the prices are lebih kurang the same anywhere.. might can get a good price if there's any sales around like when federal bowl closed down, the sales on bowling equipments were kaw2.. but i duno of any sales nw..if i spot any sales, i will post here...

owh! i prefer sid allen actually. but i did attend batson's coaching tour to get an extra dimension.
very long time indeed! still remember the sarawakian's cranker style, huh? they doesn't really works in dry lane condition btw

i used to play in 1U back in 2006. the lane is quite good then.
main kat pin junction hari tu score paling tinggi 213 jer pakai house ball.
eh, you were there when the ferderal bowl closing a few years back arr? you know the chinese uncle and jeff in the pro shop?
i actually spend almost 2k masa tu. dexter shoes, performance ball and designer ball semua sapu shalin also around de. she score 175 that day if i am not mistaken.

i think some ball suite for synthetic lane and some other for wooden lane. but also have ball suite for both type of lane. don't know lah. not xpert in this matter huhu

yeah, sarawak had the best crankers..nice 2 see la, but very2 difficult to master...master as in getting the consistency..

generally, they dont make balls for specifically synthetic/wood lanes.. its more to just the oiling of the lanes that makes it different..
psl release tu, ppl do change their release sometimes to suit the lane (as in, rev the ball more, faster/slower ball speed, hand position, etc) but the hard part is getting it consistent la.. i suggest u keep the same release, just adjust ur standing position,target arrow,angle.. much easier to get consistent.

alaaa,ktorang xde la otai mane pun, sume bese2 je..huhu jgn la rase cam xlayak ke ape, yg penting, sume minat bende yg same (in this case bowling la) huhu.. n by playing wit a crowd that can bowl well, u can definitely improve ur game, get tips from them.. n even the better bowlers can learn a thing or two from the newer bowlers..

i'll be back in kl after 22nd nov.. will be there for about a week b4 i go kerteh..
