hi guys

anyone knows how we can increase the qwerty keypad size?
i have slightly "fat" fingers
and i kinda have a problem of tapping the next key wen i text using the qwerty keypad
anyone knows how i can address this issue?

or is there anyway for the keypad to be displayed as num pad?
much like on a typical hp?
2=a,b,c & 3 = d,e,f ......etc?

i dont think so.. me also having same prob (big fingers) but i m sure u r still new on it rite? its only a matter of time before u used to it. heh..

I had a friend with a very2 huge thumb but guess what, he typed twice faster than me *LoL*.... as been said, you'll get used to it....

P/S: its always a gadget owner, they wants sumthing that other's has for instance, HTC user been dying porting iphone keyboard and iphone user been dying for HTC touch keybad heheheheeee....

But to have both in one is always better..... I also been waiting for a SDK for custom keyboard...

but i find that...but oni for safari..when u tilt the screen and type..the keypad is more spread out..so i guess easier to type..but for sms..hehe u'll hv to get use to it

btw, d3vilzzz.. i hope that there is any app that can enable us to type sms using that keyboard (i mean keyboard in safari mode).. hehe.. love to see that.. bayar pun bayar la.. hehe

The first time i get my iphone...open the box infront seller...finding menu...then only get finger tips...which teach you how to rotate the iphone...lol

Actually the phone learns our typing method as we go along. It will learn what letter are you trying to press when you put your finger at a location. The more you use the keyboard to type, the more accurate the typing will be. Now i can type (while driving) without seeing the keyboard ....... no la,just joking about not seeing the keyboard.

Ya,the iphone keyboard is learning the way we type..example:

last time when i type some malay word like sumbang,it will suggest me some English word...

after a few time i type this word,it now auto correct me to sumbang even i type until S-U-M-B only

iphone's keyboard is actually quite intelligent.. just take time to get used to it.

i too hate the keyboard but then now i can just type sms quite fast except the minor spelling errors and auto correction..
