I have called Hotlink but they rejected, their reason is they don't do sponsor for schools or students. I also sent email to Nestle and they only will sponsor their products. And in the history of my school, they have never organize a prom or anything like that. Btw, this is my 1st time doing this, I need advice. Thanks to those who willing to view.

if you really interested to hold a charity, it's better wise not to hold in posh hotel. After all, you said encourage the youth to join and watch all the performance.

If you didn't notice, Pavillion is actually a good place to hold a charity event, because, the main entrance and the centre court is very big venue. Believe me, if you try to find sponsor, they rather want you to hold at public place, they also need some sort of advertisement for their company, right? there are no free lunch in the world.

Approach the potential sponsor - DIgi, Maxis, Celcom, Airasia or whatever company you think they can look into your project.

Present your proposal, outline the event you want to do. Emphasis on how your school can help to increase awareness of whatever thing your school/group want to do, in the same time, help these company to promote or do some advertisement.

After that, approach the venue, such as Pavilion management. If you got some big company/corporate backup. They are more wiling to lend you the venue, since, considerable a public/private venue.

Budget wise - Since it's going to be public, plan all the necessary budget, PA system, Food, transportation, refresher.

Invitation - send invitation to whatever people you think can help you make your activity successful.
