Yeap, no doubt bout it , content is king and the soul of the web but think about it, how many people are doing/writing the same niche/topic with you, without a strong and quality backlink, it is impossible to get into top 1000 in google SERP.

even awstats is not as accurate as Google Analytics because AWstats does not differetiate between human and non-human visitors.
