Anybody leveled leatherworking (for the drums) without the skinning skill before? How much gold did you need to level it up to 350?

Just need a rough estimate. If it's around 1000 gold (as Kurei mentioned) then it's quite cheap already.

My server's Heavy Clefthoof Leather price is kinda low now.
Used to be 5g per piece. (Heh, always farm for 1 stack when im doing the daily gathering quest) Now its 3g per piece. |

My lock friend just leveled up his LW for drums recently.
Money is not really an issue. Its the quantity of leather for sale. He end up asking a skinner to follow him around help skin |

Drums now cause a Tinnitus effect, preventing affected targets from receiving beneficial effects from other drums for two minutes.
