Yeap, it depends. I think you should have a clear mind of how you want to read a reverse card before you shuffle the deck. Depending of which you find more accurate in your numerous times of reading.

You can either read your card in a reverse manner. For eg, if the fool represents a new beginning, you can probably read it as coming to an end.

Or, you can just treat it as a normal card.

actually tarots kinda subjective. If you are going to do a reading for people, you just have them shuffle the cards. You should be choosing the spreads that works for you best depending on what your subject wants to know about.

For eg, if you find this particular spread always produce the most accurate results for you for these type of questions, then you should be using this spread.

Not pro. Just I read a lot ma when I started out. He He.

Long time didn't play already. Spreads can be created one. You can google and see. There are some spreads created by people and they share it cos they find their results quite accurate. If you try it out and quite accurate also, then you can use it lor.

There is this spread call Celtic Cross. I think one of the most famous one. Seems to me like extremely complicated because I don't know how to interpret the results. Or rather, not so accurate. So I seldom use that spread. He He.

I don't do that la. But what the lady actually meant is to bond with the cards. For eg, if you keep using it over and over again. That is a way to bond with the cards also. The physics of tarot is such that you are actually using your inner subconscious state to guide you. The cards are a tool that helps you interpret what your inner subconscious has to say. So in some sense, if the cards bond to you, it will understand better what your subconscious self is trying to say. Just like how a parent understand their child sometimes without even have to say it out.

Some people also claim that you can use certain things to enhance your element. For eg, if you are water element, putting a glass of water next to you when performing readings can enhance accuracy.

As for me, I'll take a 5 minutes silent meditation to clear my mind before performing readings

DOn't get me wrong, I am not pro. I only do readings for myself and a few close frens of mine. My frens say my readings are accurate to them though. Dunno real or not...haha

haha.. ic ic.. i used to play that for myself but those friendsaround always says dat tarot is not accurate as they ask me to play 4 them but i dunno how... so jst wanna find some friends who are really into tarot..
btw u noe some chinese use those usual gambling cards to play as tarot too..
i think is jst da same... i try b4 pay the professional read 4 me too but kinda costly... the way their playing is totally different from what i learn from a book. each time they ask me a question i need to pick one card, then they will form it as a pyramid... and come to lastly they interpret it.

Wow spcollections, what deck do you have? Looks nice from the picture of Judgement! I have the Robin Wood Tarot as my first deck and still a fav in my collection. I have a friend who has the Vertigo Tarot 2nd Edition which is really nice. Tried finding it but it's out of print.

i would say accurate until i am afraid of it.. sometimes just couldnt take it..

now... didnt touch for quite long d.

i own a gilded tarot.. 1 of my two choices when i try to get my 1st tarot..

the other 1 couldnt find it at boarder..

reverse card sometimes is read as normal non reversed card or read as total opposite as a normal non reversed card..

some even see it as it is going to happen soon (energy is blocked by smth) or tarot card itself just trying to get your attention towards that card..

erm...so which is the actual meaning to reversed card?? i would say it depends on your first thought..what comes into your mind (the 1st one) is the idea your subconcious or tarot is letting you know..

there are a few good books on tarot around..just head to a bookstore like popular, mph and so on. you will more quickly from a book..

Added on October 25, 2008, 12:55 am@TearsOfLuv

major bookstore like mph and boarder... there is one in sg wang and timeSq..

rm30 to few hundreds i belive..depends on the type..

hi, i have a few deck of tarot cards. most of the time you can get it at bookstore like MPH and BORDERS. they also sells starter kit that comes with dvd as well. usual price ranges from RM39 to RM109. the rarer the type of the card the more expensive. if u are a newbie to tarot then you may take something that is more simple. biggrin.gif there is oso online lesson which is easy to understand and explain the decks in details. I've been going thru the course online as well.comes with exercises as well.
