Hi! Just want to ask about a deal I got for LX3:

Times Square:

[4GB + case + tripod + LCD protector + Lens protector + extra battery] = RM1700

Im not sure whether he is giving me ori battery or not and what kinda lens protector though.
I wanted black but no stock he said gotta wait for at least 2 weeks and can't even
confirm whether by then got stock or not. SIGH! I need it badly for my trip tomorrow!

Can anyone advise whether I should wait or just get the silver one?
So is it a good deal?

Still very much undecided whether to get the silver one or not. Let's say if i get silver,
if i add any accessories on the cam, do they have silver too? coz most of the pic
i saw online is black...wouldn't want a mix of both colors... that would be disasterous! LOL!

Finally! I'm a new proud owner of LX3!
Was first exposed to it when I was searching for a good digicam, then was being fed the poison
when i saw this forum. I was undecided whether to wait for the black color or just settle for the silver
as i need it urgently for my trip to HK. After a week, finally decided to go ahead and get the silver just
for the sake of the trip. And boy! am i glad i bought it for the trip!
After using the cam and looking at the pictures, I'm falling deeper in love with the cam! LOL!

Here is one of the photo i took, didn't use tripod, just with my hand, I think I was either using
the night scenery mode or the AI mode I forgot which one de.

And here are the 100% view, crop


It's quite blur but still, I don't think usual digicam can even capture such a pic. (correct me if i'm wrong)

I will post up more pictures later, all the big bros feel free to comment on how to take better pics
using this awesome cam!

Hmmm...what's EXIF? Newbie to camera here..

There's a few mode to choose from Manual to Auto (AI mode).
Just use AI mode and you'll be fine. That's what I do
Then later you can play with the manual mode and try different shots
Just get it! You won't regret!
