what's your impression of it?

and how much is it selling in MY? in HK, it's going for HK$11,400.
*
Not too sure about the SPL 1200R but the SPL 1000R is selling for RM5000 here. Bro if you're willing to spend that kind of money, you might wanna check the SVS Ultra 13 as well if size is not an issue. There's a HK distributor for SVS. ISeveral reviews shows that the SVS is much better compared to the Velodyne DD series which cost a few times more hmm.gif

If kena customs, the most we pay for the duties, right? How about censorship board? Will they ask us to pay for the tulen sticker and the B cert (FINAS)?
*
We don't have to pay anything to the censorship board but to get clearance from them would take at least a week sweat.gif

I think callmevil should be able to do a better job laugh.gif

QUOTE(sunauto @ Sep 2 2008, 09:11 PM)
Clearance here means that the censorship board will open, molest and screen / view our BDs? Something like that? Whoa, a week is a very long time.
*
Nope. For personal use, clearance is automatic, they don't have to inspect the movies but it can take a while to go through the red tape sweat.gif

wow...good luck.

btw, Arj, did you manage to get the AFQ in concert? I watched again last night..... drool.gif still listen till oil came out from ears.... tongue.gif

I ordered it with another BD, which is currently out of stock. Only found that out after checking out so now have to wait 7-14 days for them to be shipped doh.gif

QUOTE(corez @ Sep 3 2008, 10:08 AM)
If value less than 500 you can fight for no tax. My experience using UPS value 550 can escape tax, but you have to go to KLIA kastam lah.

Still better than paying 20% of 550 though.
*
20% ? DHL/UPS imposed 30% + 10% on my previous shipment that got stuck sweat.gif

QUOTE(pAnGuInDa @ Sep 3 2008, 10:19 AM)
My total value include shipping is  US 136.75...  I guess is still less than RM 500 I believe, can I return the thing to Amazon if I refuse to pay tax? Like receiver refuse to accept ask UPS to ship them back to Amazon without any charge from Malaysia. I know DHL can do that.  hmm.gif

Anyway pray hard everything will be fine. I also pray hard to those forumer that bought all their Transformers arrive safe and sound notworthy.gif
*
Yes, you have the option to refuse the package...

wow..now is 1 pound = +- RM5.97

If using normal Air Mail (Standard)...could it still reach within 1 week?...how do we know amazon is using DHL or UPS?..can we request it before delivery?  hmm.gif
*
Maybank charges slightly more. Most of my standard shipping from amazon uk arrived after around seven days. No, we cannot choose the courier service. We'll only know which one they use after the package has been shipped.

Bro fentanyl,

*

Most of the times my order always exceed RM1k (sometimes more than RM2k), only sometimes I order 2-3 older titles with standard shipping. biggrin.gif

This is the first time Amazon use UPS for me, and this is the first time ever I'm asked to pay taxes. I guess my 6 years luck has run out. tongue.gif

The good times have ended bro. I guess the gomen no money and have asked kettam to increase their collections doh.gif One of my recent package shipped using DHL, the value is just over RM600 but kena tax as well sweat.gif

ouch..that is much..how about if the package is less than RM500..?

Most of my previous orders valued below RM500 does not get taxed. I have a package with a total value of RM420 coming in later today from UPS and I don't expect to be taxed for it. If they do then I would be really pissed! mad.gif

That's what they want us to do. When I spoke to the DHL dude, he mentioned that the local distribution complains that people are buying online and making them loose business doh.gif

Anyways, my Transformers reached KLIA at 7 this morning. Hopefully it can make the afternoon delivery rclxms.gif
