Frankly, the only title in that pack worth buying is only U-571. icon_rolleyes.gif

BTW, I'm not placing any order until the US rate goes below 3.3.

Transformers BD review!

Perfect score, 5 stars for PQ, AQ, extras, and overall, 4 stars for movie itself. rclxms.gif

"Paramount has released one of the finest Blu-ray discs available to date, rivaling the likes of I, Robot and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in terms of overall quality. With breathtaking video, heart-stopping audio, and a wealth of bonus material, the disc never disappoints. For all the title represents -- great picture, wonderful sound, a plethora of supplements, and its status as one of the most desired Blu-ray discs of all time, not to mention its embodiment of the end of the high definition disc format war -- Transformers receives my highest recommendation."

I also don't understand Warner's decision with BD25 and lossy audio. What the heck are they thinking? doh.gif

Movies are originally with 5.1 channels only for the cinemas. To get a 7.1 mix, they have to redo it.

Apa boleh buat, Paramount not into DTS-MA 7.1 one, if Transformers 2 is distributed or released by New Line Cinema, then different story.  smile.gif

Paramount did release Top Gun with 6.1 DTS-HD MA though. nod.gif

Jep, this will be the best for you. The receiver is already a midrange line future-proof.

Broke your back carrying up the mountain? tongue.gif

You finished setting up already? So quick! Enjoy bro, when I first listened to it, it was Pirates of the Caribbean 1, I was like, my God, so this is lossless, with all the details, I've been missing a lot before! And I still feel the same way now. thumbup.gif

OK bro, just call me anytime if you need help. biggrin.gif

I'm now without a receiver, can't enjoy any BDs in lossless again, using the TV speakers, can you believe it? My new receiver has not arrived yet. sad.gif

Looks like there will be no DTS-HDMA 7.1 from New Line Cinema.

New Line has been absorbed by Warner. I wonder what will happen to Lord of The Rings Trilogy. cry.gif

That's so sad. sad.gif

Peter Jackson put both Dolby and DTS on the DVDs, it's possible we'll still have it, they usually will let high-profile directors decide. Like Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind from Sony.

But frankly, Dolby TrueHD is not that bad. biggrin.gif
