Frankly, the only title in that pack worth buying is only U-571.
BTW, I'm not placing any order until the US rate goes below 3.3. This post has been edited by aiman04: Aug 14 2008, 08:33 AM |

Transformers BD review!
Perfect score, 5 stars for PQ, AQ, extras, and overall, 4 stars for movie itself. "Paramount has released one of the finest Blu-ray discs available to date, rivaling the likes of I, Robot and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in terms of overall quality. With breathtaking video, heart-stopping audio, and a wealth of bonus material, the disc never disappoints. For all the title represents -- great picture, wonderful sound, a plethora of supplements, and its status as one of the most desired Blu-ray discs of all time, not to mention its embodiment of the end of the high definition disc format war -- Transformers receives my highest recommendation." http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=741&show=review ![]() This post has been edited by aiman04: Aug 14 2008, 05:41 PM |

Movies are originally with 5.1 channels only for the cinemas. To get a 7.1 mix, they have to redo it.

I can let you borrow my Cloverfield, and you can just play it with eyes closed. Just listen to the Dolby TrueHD, you'll be surprised.
So, anybody want my V1800? PM me quick! |

QUOTE(Sd-RawK-Cab25 @ Aug 16 2008, 03:13 AM) ahh finally broke my back setting up my new baby from bro aiman! Broke your back carrying up the mountain? thanks bro! nice meeting you! need some fine tuning...but goddamn...cloverfield truly sounded different with lossless audio!! You finished setting up already? So quick! Enjoy bro, when I first listened to it, it was Pirates of the Caribbean 1, I was like, my God, so this is lossless, with all the details, I've been missing a lot before! And I still feel the same way now. OK bro, just call me anytime if you need help. I'm now without a receiver, can't enjoy any BDs in lossless again, using the TV speakers, can you believe it? My new receiver has not arrived yet. |

QUOTE(fentanyl @ Aug 18 2008, 06:52 PM) Looks like there will be no DTS-HDMA 7.1 from New Line Cinema. That's so sad. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « New Line has been absorbed by Warner. I wonder what will happen to Lord of The Rings Trilogy. Peter Jackson put both Dolby and DTS on the DVDs, it's possible we'll still have it, they usually will let high-profile directors decide. Like Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind from Sony. But frankly, Dolby TrueHD is not that bad. This post has been edited by aiman04: Aug 18 2008, 07:06 PM |

Sorry guys, that BOGO creature has long been extinct. Unless somebody can find the DNA and re-create them, don't hope for it.
