Good to hear things are moving along nicely. Too bad Mega had to go thru all this hassle ..... not a pleasant experience I'm sure. Definitely a holiday spoiler.

Back to topic. Anyone knows if amazon.com (US) is offering Starship Troopers 2 as a standalone pack? I searched amazon.com but only see it bundled as a trilogy pack, not sold as a standalone, unlike Starship Troopers and Starship Troopers 3.

Why do they sell Starship Troopers 2 in a bundle only considering the fact part 1 is the most watchable one if compared to the other two sequels. Very weird decision.  shakehead.gif

ST and ST3 are sold on amazon.com as standalone blu-ray discs, but not ST2. The only way to get ST2 on blu-ray is by buying the ST1-3 bundle (according to bro rX tiga tiga kosong).

@ callmevil - the new Denon AVRs (1509, 1709, 1909, 2309 & 2809) should show up soon (Sept/Oct). Too bad the 3808 and your 4308 will carry on into the 2009 lineup. Nothing new being introduced on the 3000 and 4000 series. Crap!

What's with the new rating system on LYN? Why is it I have a negative 1? What did I do?

Won't this be opened to abuse?

Not too sure about the SPL 1200R but the SPL 1000R is selling for RM5000 here. Bro if you're willing to spend that kind of money, you might wanna check the SVS Ultra 13 as well if size is not an issue. There's a HK distributor for SVS. ISeveral reviews shows that the SVS is much better compared to the Velodyne DD series which cost a few times more hmm.gif

No la, not thinking of spending $$. Don't poison me la bro. [ runs off to check on SVS ultra 13 ]

This is one monster 'compact' sub which brings a whole new level from CHT series. Its immense power and air shifting  truly impress me. The Master and Commander DVD (Not BD) really firing cannons. You can feel the sheer power of this sub. Price : RM7,500, which is more expensive than HK.  doh.gif

However, I must say that it is nothing near Paradigm Servo-15. Of course, we cant compare an Evo Lancer with a Reventon. This sub set you back at least RM14K  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  But, for this price, it is sheer 'organsm' in its 'firepower'. However, it is only meant for big rooms. And I do mean real BIG. For those living in condo and have mde-size room, it is just too overpowering (not to mention its bulky size, which is a serious downside for WAF)

I think the sub might be giving up on me after 12 years with me  sad.gif

Thanks for the quick review. But expensive hor in MY, >50% more expensive compared to HK.

But interestingly, QED cables on futureshop.co.uk is cheaper than retail price in HK. QED SA XT online £4.21/metre compared to £8.21/metre retail in HK. So even with shipping, cheaper getting it online.

My TF coming together with my Kill Billy 1&2 later this month. The wait is killing me ....

Just tried the DVE calibration on my lcd tv last weekend. I must say the colours now look more natural. Maybe it's placebo!! <-- oft abused word in here!! hahaha!! Anyway, me think this DVE calibration thingy is pretty useful. Never done something like this before ... newbie.

Suggest if u haven't watched, and have waited this long, might as well wait for the part 2 conclusion and watch both together (early next year?). Otherwise, i tell u ... potong stim at the end!

flat 5% its not that heaven. but u can 'talk about it' with them.. i ever ask them to charge me by assuming the USDtotal was in HKGtotal.. hehehe
*
So they really charge u 5% flat on all the BDs that u bring in? HK I think no tax (cos never kena before!).
