maybe a bit OT, but here goes:

i noticed lately, when i play games esp on ps3, there seems to be burn in...which i never noticed before on my tv. is this a sign of my tv going kaput?

this is apparent especially after displaying white/bright images..then the next scene is dark..can notice a bit of burn in. just afraid it could be sign of some internal components going to burn or etc.

nope..i know plasmas normally get burn-in...i'm using lcd only. err...so far..only noticed during games. for instance..after main titles, then into loading screen...can notice some burn in.

i didn't notice it last time...so just kinda curious. i've been using medium energy saving mode to not wear out the backlight since i always use my tv in a dark room..i don't want to use normal brightness la.

so far..never notice it on movies.

hehe..bought the package deal from bro aiman..together with speakers..so no need to worry abt the subwoofer not being active.

i saw this sony V series...40 inch, full hd..and selling for 5500. i think the price is kinda awesome for a 40 incher full HD..but just wanna know any other recommendations. of course cannot compare with sony X series la..hehe

amazon uk indeed a bit cheaper a few bucks cos of the royal air mail. plus, they deliver within a week, confirmed (if nothing happens to the package mid flight).

i'm also thinking of ordering TF and a couple of titles, since now no more mega bulk.

the first time i ordered, arrived safely (although with frequent fears of posmen won't send it since i live in apartment and the mailboxes are unit mailboxes and the package won't fit).

next time must send it to office...
