Hi guys... I've done my 4th (20k) service. cost me RM 245.70. RM120.00 for the labour charge (was free before right...
The only drawback was there are no washing after repairs and no alignment/balancing service (they maybe considering about it as told by the manager.) Other than that.. Sphiroth, how's yours. This post has been edited by zeli: Aug 23 2008, 07:52 PM |

QUOTE(pearjar @ Aug 23 2008, 08:02 PM) Wahhhh... Need to order la i think for that. Previous queries (2nd free service) to the SC only tighten the nuts and see how will it fix it. the problem persisted and i forgot to tell that problem at the next visit to the SC. Good thing the recent visit they pointed out themselves to me of the problem QUOTE(sphiroth @ Aug 23 2008, 08:49 PM) My mileage just over 15k km. Still a long way to go. So far so good except for the rear disc brake locking. Just inspected my tyres and notice that both rear tyre are almost bald !!! All my tyres are same type and just 6 month old. Even the front tyres has more thread than the rear which suppose to be the opposite. I suspect it is due to the brake locking while I was driving. Who else had done their 4th service. Traveling almost 100km per day made my mileage faster reaching for the next service. When going over a bump or uneven roads. QUOTE(pearjar @ Aug 23 2008, 10:30 PM) Dude.. New car use second hand parts ka? Saving for the new one la better for your ride man. oh.. ya.. you saving for the your kenduri aaa.. QUOTE(Brotherjoe @ Aug 23 2008, 11:07 PM) But i didnt encounter such knocking sound on the old waja... Looks like i'll be counting days of when the ngek-ngek and nyek-nyek sound to haunt me then. If the problem exist in the old model.. should it has been a known issue? Why still need to long to rectify the problem.. 8 years of production.. |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Sep 28 2008, 10:41 PM) Actually the 5 yr warranty is for engine and transmission only. They didn't cover exhaust, Thats why you can see many Persona with rusted exhaust. Wouldn't later they say "Oh you mod your exhaust, that affect the engine blah..blah..blah.. and by that the warranty void la mister. In directly mister that'll affect the tranny too. so sorrry la mister. here you go your bills for repairing the engine/tranny amounting $$$$$". gedebek... you lying on the floor foaming...Squareballs, better change now, later when price increase (metal and petrol) you will regret. Need Help guys!
From your observations, what should i do (asking for replacement)? Will the insurance willing to pay to replace broken parts to it's original conditions? For one few of the headlamp's mounting to body crack (definitely when it was pressed inside) making the head lamp light path shining down the road (suluh rendah sangat) not in front of the road as usual. Then the the left signal+ fog lamp mounting out of it's place, i needed to tape it to make it stay put. from the picture those lamps looks okay when i reached office it feel backward dangling down. Signal still can light but the fog lamp both cannot light, is it when one cannot on the other one will off too like a protection or something? Help!! |

QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Oct 23 2008, 03:37 PM) normally for car below 10yrs..the insurance company will pay full amount of claim...but its depend on the inspection..i suggest that during the inspection claim,u should be there too...to tell everything what u want to claim/change new...car more than 10yrs they will pay onli half of the price(spare part) so u need to pay the rest..but beware the extraa charge by the workshop...here always hidden charge that u need to pay...hummm If i took my car to the workshop for the repairs will the inspection be held on the same day? i surely want to be there to tell them what need to be done/claim/changed. One more thing, can i asked them to give me back the old/damaged part to take home as prove it has been changed?Oh ya... how do i know they replace with original parts not some recond or local parts? thanks. |
