QUOTE(joujou @ Jul 30 2008, 01:10 AM) Hi guys, got my CPS 1 month ago and facing problems below: Prob 2, ya, the slight vibration at 2.8K is normal for campro. but mine seems to be better now and smoother after 8k km.1. Front fender squeezing sound 2. Buzzing sound from dash board after rpm reach 2.5k-3k may i know what's the solution for the problem no. 1 ? and for the problem no.2, is it possible our CPS facing same problem like Proton Persona where owners also complain about the vibration at 2800 rpm? i found a link from MTM: http://www.motortrader.com.my/asp/forum/to...49&whichpage=15 What's you guys think? |

as for the wind noise, check your window if it is going up straight when fully closed.
If the bottom fitting is not perfectly align, the might a very small gap between the glass and the frame..., hence at high speed.. wind noise.. |

QUOTE(VerM @ Aug 15 2008, 06:03 PM) if anyone else is still having the whistling wind noise when cruising more than 100km/h (after attempting all other possible solutions) then your problem would probably due to a poorly fitted component. What component? It is the one controlling air circulation for air-cond. Great advise, will check mine out.. Try driving up to the point when you start listening the whistling wind noise (drive full throttle would be even better) and then switch off the internal air circulation (meaning you are now allowing outside air to get in your car). The wind noise disappear immediately. I noticed this when driving home from melaka early this morning (4 am)... and after switching it off, I drove 170km/h without the irritating whistling or howling wind noise) For those who are having weird smell problem when they switch on their air-cond i think it is because of the same component. I'll ask SC to fix this next week. |

Guys, believe the Campro is on the EMS700 ECU, any idea if it is OBD II standard ?
Been reading around on OBD II scan guages, cool tool to have, but not sure if it is compatible with our ECU. |

QUOTE(eastwest @ Aug 19 2008, 11:43 PM) waja cps speed cut AT 6500rpm MT 7200rp,m Waja is using Mitsu F4A41 INVECS-II , which is a reliable autobox to start with. Is the speed cut for gen2 cps the same as waja? How durable is the AT gearbox? I'm afraid it will spoilt too soon if always rev the car It is always better to have a gearbox oil cooler.. but installing that will void the warranty... Added on August 20, 2008, 12:12 pmAnother question, Refering to the manual, there is a fuse box in the cabin, supposely beneath the steering column.., but I can;t seem to find it... Looking for the diagnostic port.. hehe, some poision for you guys. With a OBD II to USB tool, you will be able to monitor all your engines parameters, error codes, etc. ![]() This post has been edited by mytrader: Aug 20 2008, 12:15 PM |

OBD II is the standard/platform, meant to be used for diagnostic .
There are standalone diagnoistic / info display devices, IE, scanguage <http://www.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/2008-08DeSale17695894_AUCTION_ScanGaugeII_Trip_Computers_Digital_Gauges_Scan_Tool_OBD_II.htm> I am interested in the OBD to USB converter, which is allows us to connect it to a PC. There are plenty of free software to read out the data from the ECU, for guage display / diagnostic etc... Base on what I know now, Campro is on the Siemens EMS700 ECU, which is OBD II compliant. Need to find where the port is.... Been so busy recently, don't have the time to go "explore" yet.. Some example : It could display the calculated realtime FC Ignition timing / Knock - To know which petrol (Or which station to be more specific) is having a better quality petrol endless posibility This post has been edited by mytrader: Aug 20 2008, 01:53 PM |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Aug 21 2008, 01:22 PM) Just back from PESC to fix the brake problem. As soon as they disassemble the caliper, they found out the pad already broken into 7 pieces. Suspected that the pad compound are not glued properly to the metal base. Cost me RM70 for brake pad and labour. Luckily the disc still ok Didnt go for better pads ? Since the OEM pads are SO DUSTY ! |

Have been using 10w30 for my last 2 service, no issues so far.
SC does not have 4L pack of 10w30, hence they will use 3+1L (as 10w30 was previous used by Savvy only, which requires only 3L). |

The "pop" sound is due to the trapped gas in the petrol tank. Issue is known as the waja farting syndrome.
Suggest to get your carbon canister changed. You could try opening your petrol cap to release the gas after you park your car, the sound will be gone after that. |

QUOTE(ron4 @ Sep 10 2008, 10:59 AM) Waja CPS exterior in my opinion still look nice lah with the facelift front and rear even though outdated, compare to uptodate exterior like Vios (dugong) and Honda City fugly. haha, agree with that, it isn't as updated/fresh like Honda design flow, but not as **** as Toyota design flow(except for Camry). |
